My Daughter had her car stolen in early June. It was found by police who suspected it was being used in another crime by persons known to them. The car had been badly damaged and was under Assessment by AAMI. As of today, some three weeks later, my daughter was advised the car would probably not be available until late August. As my daughter runs a business her car was essential but AAMI only provided a loan vehicle for two weeks. Their attitude towards my Daughter was deplorable, being treated more like a criminal than those thugs who wrecked her car. In this case she was unlucky to insure with AAMI.
