Above all, though, she (Kendra) loved it. The claddagh is deeply important and symbolic to both of us. I gave it to her a few nights ago on the deck of a Norwegian cruise ship overlooking the port of Bergen. She took one look at it and its beauty moved her to tears of joy, and when I asked her if she would do me the honour of wearing my claddagh, she replied with a delighted, "Yes."
