Purchased a one-week package unlimited phone, text and data upon arrival at the Mexico City Airport from Unefon seller on Feb 25, 2026 to use during my one stay until March 4, 2026.
On March 2, 2026, I received a text from Unefon that said my data had run out !!! (unlimited?). On March 3, the telephone service had run out (yet the service I paid for was for one full week.)
I highly recommend staying away from Unefon or any booth in an airport. I strongly suggest staying with trustworthy companies like TelMex.

Scam.
They say they are calling from a big phone company.
Its just a company reselling subscriptions

Terrible company. They promise a lot so you'll give them a shot, and deliver none of it at all. When confronted with the facts, they show a blatant disregard for any accountability at all and don't care that they are swindling you. Stay away from them. If I could give minus points, I would.

Maybe one day you suddenly receive a Unifon Abonnementet (subscription) or bill (faktura), without the Angreskjema (Regret Form), You can download the form by searching the words "Angreskjema Unifon" on any Internet browser, such as Google.
You must fill up the form and send it within 14 fays. You can send it by email, and if you live in Oslo or Kristiansand, you should also deliver it to their office and ask for a receipt.
Company sends subscription with bill to you without your asking for it, is breaking the law. And if they don't send you Angreskjema (Regret Form) it is also totally illegal.

There are only 5 % the population know website like Trustpilot or Google map where people can write a complain. There are 216 people wrote complain gave rating here. You have to do 20x! Then you get the idea.
There's hardly any Norwegian websites where people can write their complaints after they were scammed by a business. That says a lot on our social system - Extremely undemocratic and unfair.
On the Norwegian Police website, there is an unit dealing with crimes against businesses with 11 officers! Their job is to protect the rich and the powerful.
How many police officers can you guess dealing with crimes by businesses against normal people? Which happen much more often. We are five million people after all, like you and I who pay tax to feed our nasty politicians, and pay for their luxury cars, cottages and big houses and their bloodhunds and chihuahuas.
We got None! No police is protecting us !
UNIFON= BIG SCAMMERS!!!
Never trust this company !
The biggest scammers I've ever meet!my previous subscription with phone phonero was included minutes abroad, and, even if I call the call center before making first call abroad, and reply everything is covered, they send me an enormous faktura of almost 26000 kr! When I ask them about this, they change their opinion, and said like only in E.U applied this!!! Avoid this company, good people,if you care about your money. Scammers, scammers, scammers!
My phonenumber stops working several times. I try to send them emails, but they never answer email. It says on there page, if its urgen you have to give them a call. But the only time its urgen is when the phone stop working. Realy stupid system. they dont have chat eigther. So i have to drive off to find a phone I can borrow to get my phone back up running. This has happend 2 times the last to weeks.
I have never meet such refined liars. Cheeters and thieves. I warn everyone before this company.
Scam, fraud and bad service. This is some of the worst lying sellers you will meet. Hang up a.s.a.p!! So so many have been scammed that it’s warning pages and groups all over the web..
