Website works quite well. Easy to design your own furniture. Prices are directly visible. The lady in your shop in Dusseldorf was very helpful ordering the product.

Love the concept - choose a finish, plug in the overall size of the storage unit and then play with the configuration - drawers or doors? Lots of drawers, or just one or two? How deep? It's very satisfying to design a storage unit that is just right! They aren't cheap, but well worth every penny - I am making a repeat order - and everyone who has seen our units is very impressed. Tylko keeps you informed of the order's progress - everything is made to your spec so lead and delivery times are longer than mass produced furniture. It's worth the wait!

I ordered a sideboard from Tylko and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish.

The piece itself is lovely; clean lines, solid finish, and it fits the space perfectly. Delivery was well within the promised time, which I really appreciated.

There was one hiccup: a VAT correction on my invoice. I contacted customer service and got a response almost immediately. Kaska picked it up and handled everything quickly and clearly, keeping me updated until it was fully resolved. No chasing, no repeating myself, just fast, competent help. A special thank you to her.

Beautiful furniture and service that actually delivers when something needs fixing. I'd order again without hesitation.

Smooth and fast.

TLDR: Best experience I've ever had building a piece of flatpack furniture.

I wasn't involved in the ordering process and knew nothing about Tylko. 7 boxes for a side unit arrived and my wife asked me to build it. The boxes were labelling 1 -> 7 with a big sticker on box 1 saying 'Open first - Manual inside' which I immediately appreciated having spent too long in the past trying to find one with other brands.

It just kept getting better from there. Once the tape has been cut, the box lid slides off neatly, theres no glue to fight. There was a helpful sticker suggesting that I use the lid of the first box I opened to build the furniture on to protect it from the floor, what a thoughtful touch.

The manual could not be simpler, clearer or easier to follow for example it says open Box 2 and take out piece h1 then piece h2. Guess what.... h1 is right at the top of box 2 and then h2 is right underneath it, its the same the whole way through, everything is right where you need it when you need it.

The build experience is flawless. Not only does every single piece have an easy peel label on it showing the front and left (so that you easily orientate it correctly), there are no screws and everything just slots together. Furthermore, all the slots are colour coded black at the back and silver at the front, so its very hard to make a mistake. All you need is a hammer, they provide a padded cushion to protect the furniture from the hammer as you gently knock it together. It was so incredibly satisfying, it reminded me of the first time I tried K'nex / lego as a child - it just works.

Ikea was the gold standard for flatpack furniture before building with Tylko. Ikea is simple with easy to follow instructions but Tylko have taken it to a whole new level. Not having to screw anything in (including hinges which click into place) was a game changer. Everything is precision measured to be in the right place. I estimate that an equivalent piece of ikea furniture would have taken me probably twice as long and not felt anywhere near as solid or sturdy.

Very impressive experience. On top of all this, I was incredibly surprised to discover that this was a custom piece of furniture my wife had designed on their website. I would never have guessed it from following the instructions which were very carefully laid out.

Couple of minor areas for improvement:
1 - the delivery process was less than ideal. We received a delivery slot and didn't realise we had only 24h to confirm that we accept the slot (never had to do this before, with anything else we've had a call) and so missed it. It took roughly another month before they could offer us an extra slot. The reason I believe is that they have their own vans which only deliver their products so they wait until theres another delivery near you. I suppose this reduces the chances of damage during transport which we have suffered from with furniture before but a phone call would when we were nearing the end of the original 24h window would have been appreciated...
2 - One of the stickers was right where two pieces clicked together, and I didn't realise until I'd hammered it in place meaning i couldn't get all the sticker off.

These really are minor points. Overall the experience was fantastic and I'd be happy for my wife to send me more of your furniture to build.

I can't imagine what it's going to be like having to build from any other supplier after this experience and I'm quietly hopeful I don't have to find out.

The customization is very fun and practical.

We recently ordered some shelves and needed a small modification from the design team, that we couldn't make using the configurator. Our exchange with Kaska was very efficient and helpful. We also appreciated how quickly they responded.
Now we are looking forward to receiving the furniture and including it into our home! To be continued... ;)
