My Samsung 65 inch oled tv developed a fault ghosting on the screen, I called Tvae and explained the problem, he said bring up the tv and he would check it out.
Arrived to Tvae and went in to the shop, told the guy who I was and why I was there, he asked if I had a photo of the fault which I did and showed him the issue, he then advised me that it was not worth my while bringing in the tv as it needed a new screen, he advised me to “chuck it in the skip” and buy a new tv, he said the repair was cost prohibitive.
That’s fine but why couldn’t he have asked for the same information over the phone and save me the trouble of dragging the tv to his premises.
Anyway I wanted a second opinion,
I ended up getting the tv repaired by another company, it was not the screen after all but the motherboard which was the fault, glad I did not take the advice given by Tvae.😜

I've used tvae a few times, and I can't fault them.

I have booked a Tefal Actifryer to be collected and twice it has been failed to be collected. TVAE blame the Delivery driver but how can they keep doing this and continue to employ the same delivery company. I will be using another repair agent in the future. I am vary if it is even a legitimate company

I have a Rowenta Vacuum Cleaner for about 10 years! Recently TVAE in Cork replaced a pipe. They stock parts from manufacturers who are committed to repairing. They are a very friendly, efficient and helpful company to deal with and I would highly recommend them. It is better for the environment to repair where possible rather than buying new.
