30-Hour Teaching Business English Course
I recently completed the 30-Hour Teaching Business English Course, and I learned so many interesting and useful things about how to plan, prepare, and create effective lessons.
The course provides lots of valuable PDFs, videos, and links to explore the topics in greater depth and continue learning even after completing the course.
I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to expand their knowledge, develop their teaching skills, and strengthen their potential as a Business English teacher!

I did the Level 5 300hr Advanced TEFL…
I did the Level 5 300hr Advanced TEFL Diploma earlier in 2026 - and also gave it a 5 star review. However, having just got a job in a private school in France, I felt the need to dive into the additional 30 hr Advanced Grammar Module. It was very useful and applied to the challenges that lie ahead, and doing this additional module has built up my confidence ahead of starting my new assignment.

I think TEFL Institute of Ireland have created a fantastic service. Not only is the courses they provide full of valuable information but it also covers other areas you woudn't think of when making the transition into becoming a TEFL teacher, making it much easier than I had thought possible. I should also mention John Curry, Course Enrolment Advisor, who was always very helpful, kind, and polite when answering any questions I had regarding the course. 180hr Level 5 Diploma
I have had an excellent experience studying with The Tefl Institute of Ireland. I have never done remote learning before and the online course is user friendly, interactive and the multimedia format keeps it engaging. This course offers valuable tools for self-assessment, and my progress has been easy to track. Additionally, valuable resources and links are added to the curriculum for further reading on the ethos and methods of teaching English language - the course is very comprehensive!
There is plenty of support available from the assessments team, your personal tutor and the student community discord chat.
Tara Bourke has been fantastic with my queries regarding my TEFL package, with prompt and informative feedback. I'm looking forward to continuing my studies through the 300hr Advanced Level 5 certificate.

I have just completed 180 hour Level 5 Diploma and the 60 hours of Teaching English, along with 60 hours Preparing Students for English Exams. I have really enjoyed the layout of the Modules, the frequent tests at the end of lessons that reinforce your learning and the freedom to learn at the pace I wished. My progress was very measurable which I like!

I’ve almost finished my 300-hour TEFL Diploma with this fantastic institution, and honestly, I’m much more impressed than I expected! The TEFL Institute of Ireland is one of those rare platforms that genuinely delivers what it promises. Everything is smooth ,well organized, and easy to follow — no scratching your head wondering what comes next. And the content is seriously incredible -super practical videos, PPTs, and teaching materials you can take straight into the classroom. Highly recommend this course!!
This course is a really great way to learn how to teach English and spread your knowledge in a meaningful way. The lesson plans are hugely focused on making the experience comfortable for both the student and teacher, concentrating on the lesson not becoming boring whilst still getting the essential information they need. There’s huge support within this community, if you do need it. The team are very quick to get back to you with any questions at all, which is extremely helpful! Lisa and Tara were particularly helpful during my time doing the 180 hour TEFL course. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to teach English!

Useful course but the layout and formatting has some bugs, it's not particularly easy on the eye, could do with updating to modern standards, it feels very old fashioned. Can't fault the staff, they are incredibly responsive and helpful.

I did their 180h TEFL course and it was solid. The course is well-structured, and easy to navigate. All modules give you plenty of information about the English language, and about all different nuances you should know before your very first practice as a teacher. Along the way you can ask your personal tutor. In my case Laura Graham helped me with all my questions about teaching, via email and tutor support group video meetings.
Overall, It was a great course for becoming a great English teacher!

TEFL certificate ordering & legalization
After needing to have my TEFL certificate legalized for teaching overseas— I am very impressed with Ms. Lisa Flynn’s assistance, understanding, and quick responses (considering the difference in time zones) regarding the shipping updates; as well as getting the document legalization process completed through their recommended company! It has been a very quick and helpful process, I only wish I had seen their links about this process sooner to avoid needing to place an urgent order with the other company. However, the necessary procedures were all very well outlined and had detailed instructions, making the certificate ordering and next steps easy to complete.
