**Three serious issues active traders should know before signing up**
I've been a TPT PRO+ trader with a real payout history. The firm pays out, so this isn't a scam accusation. But there are three structural problems that make TPT a poor choice compared to competitors:
**Issue 1: Expensive without competitive advantage**
TPT charges a $130 activation fee after passing the Test — on top of the monthly evaluation subscription (~$170 for 50K). Meanwhile:
- FundedNext Flex 50K: $69.99 one-time with JLFLEX promo, ZERO activation fee, and 95% profit split included
- Alpha Futures Premium: $0 activation, 90/10 split, EOD trailing drawdown
- Tradeify Select Flex: $0 activation
- MFFU Rapid: $0 activation
What exactly are you paying that $130 for? PRO uses intraday trailing drawdown (harsher than most competitors), news trading is restricted (unlike Alpha, Tradeify, Lucid, FundedNext), and the 80/20 split on PRO is worse than the 90/10 offered elsewhere for less money. There's no premium feature that justifies the premium price.
**Issue 2: Forced into PRO+ before I could take a single PRO payout**
TPT auto-promoted me to PRO+ within 2 weeks of hitting the profit target on PRO. I never received a single payout from my PRO account. The $5,000 in profits I built on PRO got FROZEN as "collateral" for the PRO+ account — I couldn't touch it.
Meanwhile, PRO+ starts at $0 balance with a $2,000 trailing drawdown floor, so I had to grind up ANOTHER $2,000 before my floor even locked at $0. All the profits I made on PRO are stuck in an account I'm no longer allowed to trade, held as security against my PRO+ performance. If PRO+ ever gets terminated, that frozen $5K gets used to cover any losses first.
Other firms let you withdraw freely from your funded account before any live transition. TPT structurally traps your profits before you can access them.
**Issue 3: CME Rule 575 warnings for 1-contract MNQ scalping**
After my PRO+ promotion, I received TWO formal Rule 575 compliance warnings within a month for:
- Cancelling a single 1-lot limit order in 0.88 seconds
- Placing staged exit limits at multiple price levels
- Adjusting limit orders as price action developed
All normal manual scalping. All on 1 micro contract (~$60K notional per position). Nowhere near what CFTC actually prosecutes as spoofing (which involves millions in coordinated orders with intent to manipulate prices).
The second warning explicitly threatened permanent termination. And PRO+ accounts CANNOT be reset. One more automated "alert" and the account is gone forever — along with the frozen $5K from PRO.
TPT enforces Rule 575 far more strictly than the exchange itself. Their surveillance system flags routine scalping behavior as "disruptive practices." If you use limit orders with fast cancellations (which every scalper does), you're a walking target for their compliance team.
**Bottom line**
TPT is expensive, structurally traps your profits, and treats normal active trading like market manipulation. Payouts work, but the experience of getting there is hostile compared to competitors who charge less and don't harass active traders. If you're a set-and-forget positional trader, TPT might work. If you're an active scalper or trade with any speed, look at MFF, or Tradeify instead — same or better terms, no activation fee, and much more reasonable compliance environments.
Daily payouts
Daily payouts, no consistency rules and no minimum trading days on PRO accounts... I tried 5+ other firms but this is hard to beat, almost feels like trading ones own capital. Collecting credits for purchases and withdrawals is a nice plus as well...

you should not cancel accounts for breaking a news rule. If the markt is open you should allow traders to trade. I broke a news rule that I didnt know about and you canceled my pro account. I had 9 winning days and 2 loss days. thats your loss because Im an excellent trader. I wont be using you anymore

I have no regrets choosing this Company. I have passed 6 50K challenges and ready to settle with them. My Withdrawal was smooth. The first took a few days because it was over the weekend and my Tax Form had to be reviewed. After that, my second withdrawal hit my PayPal within hours. Customer Service always try to respond to my concerns and the feeling of finally being profitable. This my First and only Prop Firm. It forces you to be disciplined and that’s what my trading was lacking.
