Second visit to the Tohapi La Dune Blanche in Camiers. We went early June this year and even though the weather wasn’t great, we loved our stay. Two adults, a 2-year old and our dog. We will probably come back next year

After having asked for 3 years of having a second email address added to the contribution list (as we had trouble receiving all emails) we finally got a reply from the company to 1 email address! They assure us that the director of the campground treats our concerns with highest seriousness and professionalism which amazes me. Didn’t she first send the ‘End of Season-Email’ around to everybody and just after that looked into adding our second email address? This has been an ongoing story for now 3 years!

Booked accomodation for a family holiday. Customer service team confirmed booking but needed to 'finalise the booking' and asked us to 'bear with them' only to discover they have cancelled the accomodation. We had paid flights and ferries to get to our holiday. No response whatsoever from our emails, impossible to call as their 'fails'

Would give 0 stars if I could. We booked a stay at one of their campsites 4 months ago and were looking forward to it. Then 4 days before eta, tohapi suddenly found out they had over booked the site and our stay were cancelled. Absolutly unaccebtaple to do that so close to the start of our vacation. It leaves us in a situation where it is impossible to find anything else similar to what we booked.

All they could say was: we’re sorry, have a nice day.

The booking process was easy although we are not French and very professional

Made a booking at a particular campsite (to see friends) back in December for a holiday in August. We booked an XL emplacement as we have a large tent. We have just (mid March) been informed that 'due to reorganisation of our rental accommodation' the emplacement is no longer available. We can cancel or take a much smaller emplacement. We could go to an alternative campsite 'subject to availablility' - yeh, booking now for early August, of course no suggestions offered as to where they may have spaces.

When you select dates, it changes the dates to one prior - eventually if you keep going, it changes it back to the correct date but it was very confusing.

We stayed there in juli. The amature in the mobilehome was broken. It spilled water everywhere and was so noisy that we couldnt stay in the mobilehome or sleep. We used so much time contacting the staff everyday under our stay and also at night time. They didnt fixed it until a few hours before we had to leave. it resulted in us not having water, not being able to shower or wash dishes. We filled out a request form about redundancy of some of the payment for our stay because we did not get what we paid for. they have never responded and when we call in to speak to them they promise a manager will call back but never does.

Generally easy to use website for booking, but found the photos of some of the accommodation limited. I also needed to book more than one unit but had to do it in two separate bookings, which was frustrating and, to me, unnecessary. That is why I dropped to 4*.

Most happy to use the site application form only thing i found not a problem was changing to English every page instead of one time to fill in form

My partner and I had booked a stay at the La Forêt campsite (Arcachon) without cancellation insurance because we were sure we could come. However, during an accident, my partner broke his foot and will not be able to fly (we live in Austria). When I called the customer service of Tohapi, after explaining the exceptional situation, no understanding or commercial gesture was made. As a result, we have the honesty to cancel in advance (no "no show", so our place can be resold) and we have to pay all the costs (including "extras" such as towels / bed sheets reserved!!!). I don't usually post this kind of review, but here I am disgusted with the lack of customer orientation!!! In short, we cannot in all honesty recommend stays at Tohapi campsites!!! :-(

Simple, rien à dire, efficace

I gave one star because there is no less! We were camping at Tohapi Sete in August 2019. Number of our bungalow was D 088. And believe it or not, we were placed next to the discotheque that none of the camping brochures mentioned it. When we made the reservation we were foolish not to get insurance, but we never believed that any sick brain can choose for a family with two 4 years old children mobile house next to discotheque for a two-weeks stay! After couple of complains we realised that we were accommodated there precisely because of the lack of insurance! After our desire to leave this modern prison, the arrogant staff told us to go and guess what without our money back! I never believed there would be a place I wanted to leave so much! Can anyone imagine being forced to get involved in disco program against his will every night?!!
Certainly a money-making machine, but not a family friendly place!
The beach is good, but I have seen better!
There is certainly something to see and do in SETE!!!
