We have Moved from Perth Birmingham UK to Perth Western Australia. We got quotes from multiple companies and I have to say TMS were very competitive. But not only was the price right but the service went with it. From the video call to assess how much space we would need to the updates from pre collection to delivery in Perth.

Moved from London to Porto a month ago and contacted them. The price was competitive and TMS in general was amazing especially my move manager Scott was class and accommodated my every need even though a lot of were last minute. The movers in London were amazing and worked really hard during the hottest day of the year. They were coordial and helpful. The move took 9 days and it was earlier than the three weeks stated. Now the reason I am not giving them 5 stars is the company contracted by TMS, although were solid in the London leg was nowhere near as good during the delivery in Porto. Firstly they arrived 1 hour ahead of the timeslot given and if I didn’t spot them randomly while walking on the road, I wouldn’t have been able to give them access to the property. They also damaged a few of my stuff which I later am to receive compensation for. If the service in Porto was as solid as in London I wouldn’t have hesitated to give them 5 stars. Overall a solid experience especially thanks to Scott and James who kept in contact with me throughout and made the move stress free

Christian was assigned as our move manager and he couldn't have made the process any smoother. Being the first time either of us had attempted a move of such magnitude we were going into it with many concerns and worries. At every step of the way, Christian was there to provide re-assurance, expertise, key information, common sense, and of course a nice bit of banter and a good old moan about the football results at the other end of the line...

TMS have been fantastic. James, Christian and the whole removal team all provided superb service in their various roles. Quick communication in a friendly manner with impeccable attention to detail. We originally booked TMS for a move from the UK to Spain. Our plans later changed to Thessaloniki, Greece, and we understood that this would require a revised arrangement and additional cost.

However, the move became increasingly difficult to manage. Timelines, requirements and charges changed repeatedly throughout the process. We were given an eatimated delivery timeframe, signed a lease, booked flights and relocated our family with a toddler while my wife was pregnant on the basis of that plan. Collection was then delayed, new paperwork and costs appeared later, and a further £865 charge was raised only two days before delivery. We had to rent double accommodation to have a furnished place for a month, and we had little practical choice but to pay their extra charge in order to receive our belongings. We were given a deadline and said that the items would not be delivered till the last minute extra bill was paid.

There were helpful moments from individual people, including the final delivery crew in Greece who were punctual and professional. But taken as a whole, the experience was terrible.

When our belongings finally arrived, several items had suffered serious damage. A hardwood table and a hardwood bed frame were broken, a chest of drawers was deeply damaged, our almost-new mattress had been punctured and badly stained with dirt, and a number of boxes were torn, crushed or dirty. The delivery crew themselves commented on the poor condition in which parts of the shipment appeared to have been transported. And used very colourful language to describe the people involved.

TMS ultimately offered £360 under its £40-per-item limited-liability terms. And did not engage with us on the fact that the shipment was clearly severely mishandled somewhere. We accepted because we needed to close the matter, but it did not come close to covering the cost of replacing the damaged items mattress, bed, table and other household items.

International moves are complicated, and changes can happen. What made this experience so disappointing was the repeated moving of costs and timelines, the lack of control we had once the process was underway, and the lack of meaningful ownership from TMS when things went wrong.

I would not use TMS again. Anyone considering them should make sure every possible charge, delivery condition, liability limit and contingency is clarified in writing before booking. And be careful storing or sending anything you hold dear with them.

Mike has been very available and responsive and a pleasure to work with. There was a lot of back and forth (due to us) and he has been very patient and understanding. The pick up and delivery were seemless. Highly recommend!

This is the second time we have moved furniture etc from Glasgow to France and we have used Total Moving Solutions both times. James and his team are brilliant at what they do. We have never had any issues. We have a final move to make and I will again use the team. I would highly recommend them.

I emailed a enquiry for a move from UK to Netherlands, and I was given Christian as my coordinator, and he was great, he advised me what I needed to do, and promptly answered any questions I had, along with supporting me when I felt over burdened with the paperwork or stress. We did have a slight snag, but the great man worked through a bank holiday to sort it out for me.
All time arrived safely and in great condition.
Once again, if you moving I highly recommend Total Moving Solutions.

We were looking to relocate from the EU back to the UK and did a search for UK removal companies. TMS had a high score on Trustpilot so we chose them as an option, plus they had a lot of very positive reviews.

Our first contact was with Mike who was great at explaining the options. When we realised we'd underestimated the scale of our home, he arranged for James to have a video call with us so we could show what we wanted to move. This was a great idea as James also gave a lot of advice about how to pack things that we hadn't considered.

Due to a change in our plans we had to postpone our move for the future, so we didn't continue with our booking. But the service and support from both Mike and James was very good and made us feel reassured that our move was in safe hands.

We would recommend TMS to anyone who wants a professional moving service with a personal touch that you can talk to.

Company are excellent, from beginning to end. They are proactive and professional. Price was excellent and found everyone we dealt with friendly and helpful, particular mention to Christian. We’ve moved counties more than once and this was the most seamless experience we’ve ever had. On time for pick up and delivery, calls ahead of time and everything exactly as we packed it up.
