Very disappointed with both the quality and the service.

In October 2025, we purchased a parasol set from YGO in Lier. It was delivered at the end of February 2026, and after barely five months, the parasol tiles already started cracking and peeling.

We reported this with photos and proof of purchase. YGO informed us that cracks and peeling can occur due to weather conditions and temperature changes, and therefore they do not consider this a warranty issue.

We find it very disappointing that a product shows such defects after only five months and that no solution is offered. Especially as regular customers who have spent a significant amount at YGO, we expected much better quality and service.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience.

Friendly and super helpful staff, great atmosphere, best prices and ton of options to choose from.

Overall average experience. Lady a the shop reception not very customer minded. Took a lot of persuasion to get a bad product swapped.She kept repeating to only have support on specific days.Nevertheless , it got sorted at stock. Sales inside very helpful and patient. Stock management very helpful too. A lot of sales people inside ,and also open on Sunday. Check very well the goods delivered or picked up.

Ik kocht een schoenenkast bij YGO en dit was één van de slechtste klantendienst-ervaringen die ik ooit heb gehad. Het product is volledig ongebruikt, nog in de originele doos en in perfecte staat, maar toch weigert YGO om het terug te nemen.

Hun uitleg? Omdat de aankoop in de winkel gebeurde, zou je geen enkel recht hebben op retour of omruiling—evenmin wanneer het artikel ongeopend, ongebruikt en perfect verkoopbaar is. Dit is bijzonder klantonvriendelijk en totaal niet in lijn met de standaard die de meeste moderne winkels hanteren.

In plaats van enige goodwill of flexibiliteit te tonen, verschuilt YGO zich achter een strikte interpretatie van regels en weigeren ze elke vorm van hulp. Dit is niet hoe een klantgerichte onderneming hoort te werken.

Ik koop hier nooit meer en raad anderen aan om zeer voorzichtig te zijn.

Ik dien ook een klacht in bij het Europees Consumentencentrum België (European Consumer Centre) via eccbelgium.be

I purchased a schoenenkast from YGO and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. The product arrived completely untouched, still boxed, and in perfect condition, yet YGO refused to accept the return.

Their reasoning? They claimed that because the purchase was made physically in-store, customers have no right to return or exchange the product—even if it is unused, unboxed, and in resellable condition. This is extremely customer-unfriendly and far below modern retail standards. Almost every reputable shop offers at least a basic return option for unused items.

Instead of showing goodwill or flexibility, YGO hid behind rigid interpretations of regulations and refused to help in any way. This is not how a customer-oriented business behaves.

I will not purchase from YGO again, and I strongly advise others to be cautious.

I will also file a complaint with the European Consumer Centre Belgium through eccbelgium.be

A part of the dresser I bought was broken on pickup. Customer service was easy to reach by telephone and friendly. I had to follow up with more details and a picture by email and I got a response the day itself that they would arrange for the piece to be replaced. It's rare these days that customer service is so quick to react and also comes with an easy solution.

Dodgy, dodgy company. Fine for homewares but DO NOT buy furniture here- they literally have you sign a contract before you get it, saying you forego your right to return or exchange it for any reason (even within 24 hours). But of course, they don't tell you that information upfront.
