Wanted samples for recovering kit hen floor once building work completed. Very efficient in sending samples and appreciated not being hassled with calls and follow up every five minutes like other providers. Would recommend.

Talking to Junaid was a great experience. He answered all my questions and guided me through the order/payment sequence. He has an excellent personality and is an extremely valuable member of your staff. I will certainly be back in the future should I need more flooring.

Disappointing advice and unreasonable return policy
We purchased both engineered oak flooring and vinyl flooring from UK Flooring Direct. One of their sales officers specifically advised us to purchase this particular door strip to create the transition between the two floors.
We followed their advice and purchased the recommended product. However, once opened and checked against the flooring, the strip stood proud and simply did not work for the intended transition.
We contacted UK Flooring Direct because we wanted to return the item. We were then told that we had to pay the return cost ourselves and that the item should be unopened.
This is very frustrating. How are customers supposed to establish whether a transition strip actually fits the flooring without opening the packaging and checking it against the flooring? We did not randomly choose this product or simply change our minds — we bought it based on advice from their own sales officer for use with their own flooring products.
We expected UK Flooring Direct to take responsibility for recommending a product that was not suitable for the application we explained to them, rather than putting the entire cost and inconvenience of their recommendation back onto us.
We are now left with the cost of the unsuitable item, the hassle of trying to return it, and potentially the return postage as well.
We are disappointed with both the original advice and the way our return request has been handled. We expected much better customer service, particularly when the product was recommended by their own sales team.

A MUCH NEEDED HELPING HAND When I first went on line I was a little apprehensive as
I have never ordered anything other than my online shopping from the supermarket. It was an experience with so many things to look through and consider. I soon realised that ordering samples was not as easy as I hoped. The telephone was the best way for me and I was so fortunate to be answered by Steve who helped me considerably by explaining how I could order the samples properly if I wanted to try again, which I did. Unfortunately after two or three more tries I telephoned him back as he had suggested and he immediately sorted everything out for me. This took a lot of pressure off of me as my Husband has Parkinsons and is waiting to go into hospital for a heart procedure. He was so helpful by explaining everything very clearly giving me all the information so I could understand it. I felt so much better for his help and guidance which put me at ease. I could not have possibly, in any way, put my order together and no doubt would have given up completely. Steve has been brilliant in every way and I have learnt a lot from him which has given me the courage to perhaps look for other items on line which we have need of to make our home more assessible for Roy with his disabilities. We needed a suitable vinyl flooring for our bathroom, so ordered online. Then got an email saying the one we'd chosen was delayed (out of their control) so ring up and discuss alternative options. I AM SO GLAD I DID! Penny Williams was a star from start to finish. Not only did she make me aware that the flooring i'd chosen wasnt waterproof, she recommended a far superior option we'd not seen and made sorting this all out for us, so much easier! I highly recommend you call and speak to one the excellent advisors, exemplary customer service skills and saved us from making silly mistakes! Thanks Penny!

Alice was great to speak with. She was quick and dealt with the query and order efficiently despite all the technical difficulties we were having. she sorted everything out.

Delivered on time and delivery drivers were helpful. I do think the delivery cost is a bit excessive though.

I got a sample piece of flooring delivered quickly and it's good quality not sure what more I can say it's not been an entire order.. yet..

Alice in the trade team did a brilliant job facilitating a very last minute rapid turnaround trade order for us. The order was raised in minutes, payment link sent and she even updated shipping for us to get it out as soon as possible. Would not hesitate to use again and we hope Alice gets some acknowledgment from management about the excellent service she provided. It really was 10/10. Thanks again
