I love my new shutters. They are right on track and give me multiple setting options, as well as privacy and light.
The surveys, ordering, payments and fitting were very professional.
Although they took some time to arrive, they are cetainly worth the wait.

Got three quotes. R from shutters up was the most professional & informative. Great survey. Ok, let’s order. Pay ur money & then. Try contact them. ‘Ur call is important’. Never ever answered a phone call. Physically impossible to call them. Shocking. No reply to e-mail. On the day they were 2 hours late but I did get txt. Never ever got to speak to them.
Within 2 weeks the blackout blind failed. I was so important to them that they could look in three weeks time. Totally regret my interaction with this firm.Give them a wide birth because I’m still waiting to get a repair on a blind less than TWO weeks old.

Having reviewed our records, we can only see one missed call from yourself, so we are sorry if there were other occasions where you attempted to reach us that have not been reflected in our system. We certainly would never want any customer to feel that they were being ignored.
Our Customer Services Manager has been in touch with you regarding the fault with your blind and has acknowledged the issue and apologised. We completely appreciate how disappointing it is to experience a fault so soon after installation.
As our Customer Services Manager explained, the appointment offered was unfortunately the soonest date we had available to attend the issue. We appreciate that this is longer than you would reasonably have hoped to wait, particularly given how recently the blind/shutters were installed, and we are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. You have also been placed on our cancellation list so that, should an earlier appointment become available, we can get to you sooner.
We are pleased that your initial consultation and survey were a positive experience, which makes it even more disappointing that the subsequent experience has left you feeling this way.
Please accept our sincere apologies. We are committed to getting the issue with your blind resolved as quickly as we can and hope we have the opportunity to restore your confidence in ShuttersUp.

Shutters with built in electric black out blind.
We decided to get blinds for our bedroom at the beginning of the year, we previously had a cheap Roman blind and curtains and wanted to replace with plantation style shutters. We invited both Shuttersup and another large blind company round to quote. We were very impressed with Lydia’s demonstration, but the built in electric black out blind really sold us! We had our blinds installed last week by Oliver, who was brilliant, both polite and fastidious. At one point he was sealing the blinds with the lights out to ensure no extraneous light got through! We really couldn’t be happier with the result. On the first morning after installation, we thought it must be the middle of the night as it was so dark, but it was 7:30am! The quality and finish of the shutters and installation couldn’t be higher and not only is it darker with the blind shut than before, it is also much brighter with the shutters open. I’m sure some of my neighbours will be customers too by the end of year as they really look exceptional. Thanks Shuttersup!

Great shutters !
Great to have the shutters installed in our front downstairs bay windows, they look fantastic, we are very happy with them.
This is the 3rd time we have used Shutters Up and as usual they were thorough and efficient in fitting the shutters - wore shoe covers and tidied up after themselves.
The product itself is top quality. The first set of shutters we had installed was around 5 years ago, and still look as good as new today.
Overall we would highly recommend Shutter's Up.

Very professional and excellent…
Very professional and excellent communication throughout the process. Michael was our first face to face contact with the company. He was very knowledgeable about the products and was able to advise us on the most suitable shutters for our property. He was an excellent ambassador for the company. Tom, who did the second measure, was very clear on the process of the installation and where necessary spent time discussing different options. I did not feel under any pressure throughout the whole of the process to make quick decisions. We are looking forward to receiving our shutters but I feel very confident that the installation and end result will be first class.

Extremely disappointing experience with…
Extremely disappointing experience with Shutters Up and a very poor first impression. I booked an appointment with Shutters Up two weeks ago to provide a quotation for shutters. I made it clear from the outset that the appointment specifically needed to be today, and everything was arranged on that basis. Unfortunately, just one hour before they were due to arrive, I was contacted to say the appointment was being cancelled due to illness. Of course, I appreciate that people can become unwell unexpectedly, however I work in a sales based industry myself and there is no chance I would simply allow a pre arranged appointment to go to waste without first doing everything possible to move diaries around, find cover or work out an alternative solution for the customer, particularly when the appointment had been booked two weeks in advance. What makes it even more frustrating is that I had already been let down by another shutter company this week. Shutters Up were probably the company I was most likely to use, so this has potentially cost them the business. First impressions really do count. If an appointment for a quotation can be cancelled just an hour beforehand, it naturally makes me question how reliable things would be once you have actually placed an order and are relying on them to turn up and carry out the work. I am now left trying to find another company at incredibly short notice after being let down twice in the same week. A real shame, as I was genuinely expecting to be placing an order with them.

We completely understand why this has left you feeling so disappointed with us, and this is certainly not the first impression we ever want to give.
Before contacting you to cancel, we genuinely did everything we could to avoid letting you down. We tried rearranging other appointments and explored whether another member of our team could cover your appointment. Unfortunately, despite those efforts, the circumstances were beyond our control and we simply weren’t able to find a way to attend.
We appreciate that receiving a call just an hour before your appointment was extremely frustrating and inconvenient. We did offer an alternative appointment date, but completely understand that this wasn’t workable for you and that, having kept today free specifically for us, rearranging wasn’t the solution you needed.
We’re also very sorry that this experience has caused you to question our reliability should you place an order with us. We take our commitments to our customers extremely seriously, and we’re genuinely disappointed that circumstances outside of our control meant we weren’t able to demonstrate that to you today.

Shutters Up - Great Service
Family had already had a great experience with Shutters Up, which is why we went with them. The team have been really great from start to finish. Everything is explained to you, and yes you do have to wait up to 16 weeks, but the quality of the shutters are fantastic. These are made to fit your windows exactly which is why it can take that time. Lastly I would just like to praise our fitter Oliver. He was amazing, the shutters look fantastic and he cleaned away all mess.
