I wanted to see by how much my fund grew, no answer. I can’t remember the exact date, maybe 2 -4 wees ago
I wanted to see by how much my fund grown from previous year or year before. I also wanted to see how it’s growing without my contributions or contributions from work. This information isn’t available on the app. Over the phone I was told this information isn’t available anyway and I would get an up-date once a year only. I also asked how much this pension plan would be worth and how much I would potentially receive at the age of 55, 60, 67. No answer. Scottish Widows would also not tell me how my funds are invested. Scottish widows would only tell me by how much it grown since 2018, but wouldn’t tell me if all growth came from mine and company monthly contributions. Scottish widows wouldn’t tell me by how much the fund actually grew without contribution. This indicates there was no natural growth, just cash contributions. Person I spoke to wasn’t willing to discuss it.

Today I withdrew my pension because I do not trust this government in future policies... Nothing to do with Scottish Widows.
I had two phone calls with two knowledgeable individuals who made it very simple after all of the legal stuff was out of the way. Great help and polite makes it much easier.

Live chat was better then telephone
The Bot placed me in the queue and had no idea how long I would have to wait but luckily it was not too long and I got the response I needed. Only 4 stars due to previous interactions on phone line where I was passed from one person to the other and eventually dropped off!
