Brushed aluminium cover has a lot of depth
Having purchased a previous photobook with the acrylic cover, I made a purchase with the brushed aluminium cover and the quality is brilliant. The acrylic cover is prone to picking up fingerprints if it is not handled correctly but is simply no problem with the brushed aluminium. In particular, the copying/printing of the cover photo onto the brushed aluminium is quite exceptional. I wanted to show the detail of the subject in the cover photo and this was maintained in the transfer. The texture of the cover is not smooth and this also helped in bringing out some of the detail that I wanted from the photo (and of course, no fingerprints). Again, I selected the silk paper option for the pages in the photobook and the quality is excellent and well suited the the type of pictures on the page. Again, the photobook was delivered ahead of the planned delivery date and is well packaged. No qualms whatsoever in ordering again in the future.
