Can't give this bank a better star than…

Can't give this bank a better star than one. I live abroad and have had so many issues. Currently one of my e-saver accounts is locked so I cannot move money out of it. When going to the branch in Sweden it has been along, long queue and really warm in the room. I got one lady at the desk who was stroppy and unhelpful. The next time I went I managed to get someone else and got the help I needed. Unfortunately it is just about impossible to open a new bank account in any swedish bank when you live abroad so I am stuck with this one. I have been a customer for nearly 30 years so you would think that would count for something, but no. Also, whats with the payments for having a physical card? In the UK it is free to have a debit or credit card but in Sweden you seem to have ongoing costs for it, same with online banking. Crazy. And it is difficult to find a branch if you're not in a big city, and might have to book an appointment anyway and not just walk in.

From 2020 and to 2025 doublk debits you…

From 2020 and to 2025 double debits you and ignore the customer do not refund customer and nonchalant blames their customer.

Europen Bank Control Group should jail the bosses, they rob their customer giving wrong answer
" You have accepted yourself by Bank Id. Swedbank has very bad Customer Support/ Do not refund you and have Complicated Reklamation Formulear as Trustly Group Also has. They both have fatal security system.

I changed from Swedbank to other, do not put your money in Swedbank they will rob you and let time go not refund you 3 times, 4 billion, 850 million and 12 million 2020-2023/ forced to pay bog bills by Sweden Finance Inspection.

Bad criminal Bank- Swedbank.

You dont trust Digital Money because these frauds and better take out CASH and save yourself not at the Bank as they X
cnfiscate and " FREEZE" your money if you politically active as They did with Scott Ritter. Better use Russia / Chinese System when the Western Banks act like they want as Dictators: As they also contiscated Russia assets.. that western hedgemony "Magic Hokus Pokus money and from 1000 euro they can create x 1,9= 19 000 Euro if normal person did that you will get jailed but The Banks Robb Their Customers Legally called Banking Benefit Laws.

BankID hell

My wife is a Swedish citizen with a Swedish passport and personal number. She lives here in Ireland. She opened her Swedbank app yesterday and was told her BankID had expired. She tried to create a new one and it didn’t work. She was then prompted to delete her old one and that would allow her to make a new one. It didn’t work.

This morning she rang them in Sweden and security said they can’t pass her through to customer service without a BankID! She said she didn’t have one because the app told her to delete it. They said she could try her digipass but when she told them she needed to change the battery they said it won’t work and she’d need to go to a Swedbank branch to get a new one.

So in the end she couldn’t talk to anyone and (using money I was saving for holidays) I had to book a flight and hotel for her to go to a branch in Stockholm. What a waste of time and money.

It’s a complete joke. No way to talk to customer service or email the bank.

Just cost me a lot of money for something that should be fixed online if the technology worked properly.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever, never help me, instead manipulate for personal information and try to sell insurance which they deny you once something happens.

Extremely poor customer experience

Extremely poor customer experience. Slow handling, weak communication, and little sense of accountability. Compared with other major Nordic banks I have dealt with, Swedbank stands out negatively. I would recommend choosing another bank.

Swedbank is extremely slow when…

Swedbank is extremely slow when transferring money to and from banks abroad. From European banks it takes typically two days into my Danish bank account. From China to Denmark it is done in less than two hours. Swedbank needs ten days. It looks like that bank has a cashflow problem, which customers are paying for.

Hi everyone

Hi everyone, I think Swedbank is the worst bank in Sweden. I think they are so stupid and bad because they don't want to take responsibility for the error that they can solve the problem with. They want to constantly drag everyone out all the time. I recommend looking for another bank.

Good bank

Good bank, but frequently I have issues with connectivity.
The customer support is fine, however not quickly available. I guess it's with all banks like this nowadays.

No response

After having notified Swedbank 4 times that I want to add my telephone number to my profile - no results after one year. The international code +31 for the Netherlands is missing in the small range of Swedbanks international country codes.
Avoid calling the bank by telephone, you will land in a waiting queue of approx. 70 persons before you. Helpers at the helpdesk really do not help you!

Swedbank violates EU law

Now its a known fact that Swedbank violates EU law "know your customer". They let us to transfer 900.000 SEK to our entrepeneur and just a day or few days after has closed their account. Literally they took our money because of their actions our entrepeneur could not finish the construction of our house. Its a tip amount for bank, but for average family its matter of life or death.

Avoid Swedbank

Avoid Swedbank. We had a very bad experience with Swedbank Sveg. I'm to fed up with them to go in detail. But believe me, they don't know what they're doing. So they don't do anything they promis. On top of that they lie about having tried to contact you.

Swedbank did a credit check (UC) for…

Swedbank did a credit check (UC) for nothing — I only applied to become a customer to see their prices, never asked for any service. They didn’t make me a customer and gave no answer. Now I have a UC record that hurts my credit score. No email or contact form for non-customers. In the branch they gave me an email, but refused to remove the UC entry. Only this bank treats people like this. Also charges 300 SEK/year just to use internet banking — nothing else included. Avoid
