Very bad experience
Very bad experience,I had few issues,first sign up prices are normal while renew price are 5 times more expensive than competition but this is up to me,I should check better. Problem is they will auto renew everything even if you remove authorization for credit card payment,than they will keep those invoices for eternity. When I paid for new service few months after domain expiration(have no clue they renew it),they used authorization for that new payment to charge additional 150 Euros for domains I did not renew. Everywhere if you don+t pay for domain renew,companies will cancel it but these guys will renew it even if you don't pay and they will keep invoices as debt..ridiculus I didnt ofcourse use any of doais since did not have clue I have it..any way be carefull to cancel manualy everything there

I cant cancel the automatic renewal
I cant cancel the automatic renewal, and they are trying to charge me 80 eur every day. The website is unresponsive when i click to manual renewal.

Apprezziamo il feedback dei nostri clienti e ne facciamo tesoro per fare sempre del nostro meglio.
Relativamente al rinnovo automatico del suo dominio, avvenuto a luglio, le ricordiamo sempre che è possibile modificare il tipo di rinnovo (automatico/manuale) in autonomia direttamente dal pannello di controllo, come da avvisi di scadenza inviati oltre un mese prima della scadenza.
A seguito degli avvisi di rinnovo, non ha impostato il rinnovo manuale del dominio, ed il processo ha caricato il rinnovo dell'annualità in corso.
Da un controllo effettuato, la sua richiesta di rimborso inviata dall'area riservata è già stata gestita dal nostro Team di Assistenza, il rinnovo automatico è stato annullato e rimborsato nel mese di luglio 2025.
Se la recensione riguarda una diversa casistica, le chiediamo cortesemente di inviarci maggiori dettagli o contattare il servizio di Assistenza.

Poor Customer Service
My company is located in the US. Trying to set up and then cancel the service has been impossible. Customer services is inadequate and doesn't answer my questions. Rather, a generic response is given each time. Submitting a ticket is worthless. If you are outside of Italy, I don't recommend this service.

Someone fraudently registered a domain name using my email address as a form of harassment due to Register.it's lack of due diligence
Someone fraudulently registered a domain name using my email address because this joke of a registrar doesn't do the utmost basic "confirm your email address" before allowing someone to register and thus purchase a domain name.
The lack of due diligence is shocking. Surely this can't be compliant with ICANN?
Edit: the registration wasn't blocked. The domain was registered, just as it was on Nominalia. You both use the same administrative system and it is functionally identical.
Please use English if possible so that I don't misunderstand.
Second edit: I already reset the password, which is how I was able to open a support ticket in the first place. However, you made it abundantly clear that you don't understand the problem in the email by you greeting me by the stolen info on the account that's used to pay for domains. The only PII on there that's mine will be my email address.
Instead of a paper statement, do the decent thing and refund the payment method, cancel the domain and terminate the account. It is not just my PII on the account. I am a victim of malicious behaviour, not fraud. Someone else is the victim of fraud.

the "contact us" part is terrible, there is no easy chat with the support team.
also we bought a web hosting plan with 10 Email addresses for a year, when we tried to use it we couldn't BECAUSE we had already got the domain name from another provider.
