Unacceptable.
Very, very disappointed with the interaction I had with their checkout team on 02.04.2026 at around 08:00. The lady was rude and unacceptable in hiw she dealt with the issue. I was a bit worried and rather than helping me find a solution, I was told off.
Luckuly, Wallee AG solved the issue for me but as a result of thid experience, I'l be moving my custom elsewhere.
This bank is ok
This bank is ok, if you don't expect any Xtra service. Especially, if you need bank account and don't have a physical permit for residency. But what I definitely wouldn't do is to apply for a credit card with this institution! Absolutely pointless. There are no benefits for you since you have to pay 50 francs fee for a year and they only give you a very small percentage of every purchase. Honestly, I really wonder what dumbass have came up with these conditions 🤔. A very surprising discovery for a Swiss Bank
The worst bank and the most shitty…
The worst bank and the most shitty services and the disaster client services
E-banking not functioning
The e-banking ist not functioning extremely often at Swiss night time. I'm often abroad and have time difference, so I usually can only use Postfinance's e-banking and trading at Swiss daytime. So frustrating.
PostFinance Staff not able to clarify…
PostFinance Staff not able to clarify why it was cancelled the access to my account. The answer was “wait for a call tomorrow”. Apparently the bank deals with customers by phone!!! Very strange nowadays when is common to get fraudulent situations through phone calls.
terrible banking service
terrible banking service, only headaches with them
Okay bank but dont expect top service
Okay bank but dont expect top service
Just left them as a client. Commercials (earlier this year) show how there is buyers protection when you buy with their credit card. However, any disputes (obviously written, and send via post) need to be in within 30 days. That is never enough time to settle a dispute, or conclude that you need to use the buyers protection of the Creditcard. Postfinance will therefore always reject your claim. The buyers protection is a marketing tool but will give you a false sense of security.
App is not super intuitive but other banks do not necessarily have anything better. Price is fair (in comparison to other banks), but in case you have more difficult questions and you need to ask someone over the phone, know that you will have to pay per minute for client service.
postfinance insurance for a car
Had postfinance insurance for a car, car got stolen while on holiday in spain, didn't even try to help us get a rental or give any help what so ever for 2 days, almost got left on the streets, stay away
Just getting worse and worse..
A real disaster.
Keep doing maintenance almost on a weekly basis, to change the color of the letters. You should focus on improving the platform concretely for your paying customers. Especially they pay a lot , far too much for what they get. Bye for good
Expensive, outdated, reliable
In comparison to other banks the services of PostFinance are rather basic and features that most banks already have are coming later.
Otherwise it got better now. eBanking works fine.
Just the price for PostFinance accounts are a bit high.
Netcetera
I've been a customer for 25 years and just learned that POSTFINANCE uses the Swiss firm Netecera to run its software. That is a huge concern because Netcetera have convicted criminals working for them.
Completely terrible
Completely terrible, the bank. Nothing works and you constantly have to call to clarify something, but even then you often don't get anywhere with your problems.
Such a blunder mistake to choose this…
Such a blunder mistake to choose this bank. They are horrible... worst service. Don't expect any help from them... no communication.. no mails no reply
Phone Support Hell
I selected English speaking support. Silly me.
After a ten minute wait, I talked to a woman who said she'd have to check for an answer to my question. "Please hang on a moment".
Then she plugged me back into the beginning of the phone support queue which then went through to a German-speaking colleague.
The German colleague thought she could reconnect me to the English-speaking colleague, but of course that went back into the queue, and through to another German speaking colleague, who wanted to be helpful but sent me back to the beginning of the phone support queue ... and you get the picture.
I gave up.
Advice for PostFinance. Either train your support people how to use the phone system, or if the phone system is unusable, fix it.
My company entered into a loan agreement
My company entered into a loan agreement with Post Finance, and once the agreement was signed, we were transferred to their affiliate bank, Clyde River Savings and Loans.
We were charged $10,340 in fees, and to this date, we have yet to receive the funds for our business loan. Post Finance will not return the fees we were charged.
This company is a scam operation, avoid it at all costs!
Avoid Andrew Suki at Clyde River Savings and Loans. He is a liar and a thief.

Due to an issue on Postfinance' end I was charged a fee of 165 CHF. The customer support doesn't read messages correctly and does not answer questions. This bank is well below swiss standards. Also the website is often crashing or under maintenance. I don't trust my money in there. They also started adding adds in the homepage which doesn't feel professional at all.
Bad experience
Expensive
Expensive! Charge you 60.- a year for an account and then another 60.- to have a postfinance card! wtf
Just changed to Rafeissen and I get a great service and much cheaper :)
I hate this company - huge trouble and costs since years
I am a very relaxed person, but every time I use PostFinance it just annoys me.
Instant money transfer when paying bills is standard and normal with no additional fees with other banks, only with PostFinance a normal deposit with transfer on the same day costs 5 CHF!!! A disgrace.
In addition, the "notified bill" causes problems because it doesn't work on a smartphone and only via e-banking. That means I have to log into a computer for PostFinances service to work at all, meaninig sometimes I have bills due since 3 month, which causes me costs.
Furthermore, high monthly fees.
I hate this company.
