we have been a customer of lampsonline for some years purchasing a lot of led panels for 3 commercial buildings.
Our recent order was for 6k panel lights over 30 panels. Over the last 2 months all developed faults started to flicker and then burnout.
The customer support is atrocious and think they are based out in the Philippines.
Non of the lights have been replaced. The email replies take days if at all.
Please avoid this company at all costs.
Once a great company but now lost all hope.

Sent wrong tubes,rung them to return sent me a link ,took them to post office but this firm are not at this address so customers BEWARE

Ordered 8w downlighters and was sent 10watt downlighters. From what other reviewers have said this is standard dishonest practice. Very sad that Lampshoponline think that it is OK to do this. Also ordered an individual downlighter which in the desription included the word 'tiltable'. When it came it was not tilltable and that was the only reason that I ordered that item. Not a good way to treat a customer

Awful experience wouldn’t recommend to anyone, much better have no lights than trying to order from then they do have a “sister company “ be aware ordering from both.
I ordered a Led panel 120 degrees beams. The panel delivered was a 90 degrees beams but I only noticed after the installation because the box or the product doesn’t comes with a manual or any extra specifications. On their website the description says 120 degrees beam. I have paid an eletrician to install it and after installation of the 10 panels during my working days i noticed something was wrong I have checked the product number and their website they have sent me the wrong product. I contacted then at first they admitted the mistake but 30 min after i got a new email saying actually the panel is 120 and they have an internal error on their website.
I have searched the same panels in different websites and all of them says panel is 90 and not 120 degrees beam. I have sent them proof and they always trying to mislead me (lie) even said they have contacted the supplier and the supplier said the panel is 120. I have contacted the supplier myself and they sent me the product spreadsheet and it does says 90 degrees beam ( a lie again from a company) they are actually scammers. After all that proof they still tried to say judging by a photo from an iphone 17 pro max the panels looks a 120 degrees beam treating me all the time like am I Dumb or something. They cause me a financial damage with all the eletrician cost and now refuse to pay for the panels removal even though it was they own error as the panels sent doesn’t match the description on the time of purchase.

I would love to offer them an asda gift voucher so there’s no more need to scam people and they can still eat.

Ordered on Tuesday ready for dispatch on a Thursday for a Friday Delivery. double checked on the Thursday with a phone call to confirm the delivery is still on schedule.
Friday 3pm comes and no delivery.
Informed by phone call that there is no stock.
Refund issued straight away but that doesn't help for a job that they are needed for the next day

Ordered some replacement LED tubes to replace my old flourcesent bulbs - ordered late Monday afternoon, paid standard delivery, recieved the next day! They also seem to have very competative pricing after spending a long time shopping around trying to find what I needed.

Ordered 2 bulbs that have been discontinued and difficult to source elsewhere. Reasonable price for them. Ordered next day delivery on Wednesday well after the cut off time with the intention of the parcel arriving on Friday. The bulbs arrived Thursday by midday. Very rare these days for a company to be so efficient. On ordering I received 2 confirmation emails and one cancellation. I hadn’t clocked the order numbers were slightly different so tried to phone to query if my order was arriving but could not get through. I emailed and was really surprised that the company (Doney) got back to me that evening confirming the order had gone through and explaining reasons the original may have cancelled off - likely my being a dufus but they were too polite to say that! Doney was helpful and responsive and I can’t fault the efficiency and professionalism of Doney and the company. Will definitely use again when replacement bulbs are needed.

We purchased and paid for items on 19dec25 which have not been received. Cannot reach Lampshoponline by phone, email and chat.

Harper&Halow and Lampshoponline are the same compan, with the same company and vat number.
I brought 2 bathroom mirrors for next day delivery on the 16 December 2025. There telephone numbers arent working, the messaging service doesn't work and they dont respond to my emails. Im at a loss as to what to do. As for as im concerned they are another Internet SCAM company.

I needed to replace a T5 fluorescent tube, which I discovered are now obsolete. We are moving house, so calling in an electrician to rewire for a led fitting is not economic. Ordered on Friday (after the cut-off time), the parcel arrived on Monday with standard postage, well packed. This is how business should be!

Bought 2 Led panels, a 30x30 and a 120 x 30 along with the surface mount adaptors kits. I did contact them as I had not received them in the stated time, and had no issues with getting a response, I was assured the panels had been dispatched and to be fair they did arrive next day. The panels were very well packaged, loads of bubble wrap and cardboard, and the panels and frames were in perfect condition, they have been fitted and very happy with them, made a huge difference to the room. I even had a phone call from a lovely lady a week or so after delivery to ask if I was happy with the service, and without doubt I can can say a big YES. I would happily use Lampsonline again and recommend to friends

Bought some LED tubes - good and easy replacement for old fluorescent ones. Unfortunately a couple got broken in transit as long bulbs can do. LampShopOnline got in touch and made a refund promptly. Will use them again.

It’s fine when it goes right but you lose so much money when it goes wrong. All my bulbs were smashed on arrival. I’ve emailed and nothing. Just lost my money and they don’t care.
Why risk it. Pay more for satisfaction.

We bought four LED panels from them, when our man came to fit them he opened the box and all four were damaged, I phoned the seller, initially she said they would send out replacements and asked me to send pictures, they then emailed back saying that they would not replace them as I had had them more than 30 days, it was in fact 36 days, I called her but she wouldn't budge and said they are not under warranty. they couldn't care less about statutory rights or warranties, avoid

The product I bought - 6 ft LED tubes to replace old 100w tubes - are absolutely first class: so easy to click the old starters and tubes out, click the new ones in and hey presto, instant and much better light at a tenth of the power consumption. Price was excellent, and the product arrived promptly and exceptionally well wrapped and protected (unlike a lot of stuff you get these days in flimsy boxes.) What more could you ask for??? Highly recommended!

Wow...what a refreshing change, I ordered some lights on Tuesday afternoon and they arrived before 9am the next day...please note I did not pay for express delivery.

I ordered a Vela LED Bathroom Mirror in Brushed Brass from LampShopOnline in November 2024. They sent me the wrong colour, copper instead of brass, and initially denied the issue, even after I provided clear photographic evidence. Only after I left a 1-star review did they admit the error, rename the product, and promise to send a correct mirror in April 2025 when new stock arrived.

I trusted them and agreed to wait. It’s now well past April, and they’ve gone completely silent despite multiple follow-ups. It’s clear to me now that they were stalling until my 120-day PayPal dispute window expired. I’m shocked that a business would go to such lengths to avoid making right on a £100 mistake.

This kind of dishonest and evasive behaviour is unacceptable. Be very cautious when dealing with them. Customer service only acts when public pressure is applied, and their promises don’t mean much once reviews are changed. Extremely disappointed.
