The grades are published relatively fast, I am satisfied, but I don’t like the AI tools, Synthea and so on…

I am very happy with the University as this format of online studies gave me the opportunity to follow education while working a full time job. The resources are good and the staff is amazing and helpful. All my questions are always answered, myCampus is updated with the latest events. It has been a great experience now that I am nearly at the ends of my 3rd semester, I have nothing but praise. The rules for online exams are very clearly laid out, everything is communicated very succinctly.

It is my univertisy, been erolled for 3 years now. The classes and course structure has changed over the years, making it easier to keep up with. They also changed the way we can give exams which make it a lot easier for us, as students to give on demand exams without the headache of getting a proctor. Teaching staff is still less, but I am giving it a 4/5 cause they listen to our recommendations, and though it take time, at least something is done.

As a senior student. I have found a route to continue my personal development and take an online degree in Psychology. Additionally, being able to complete this in English has been of importance.

The process was not easy. It required self-discipline and intrinsic motivation.

I am very grateful that IU has helped me fulfill my career and personal development goals.

As someone with fulltime job, IU is the perfect option for me. When ever I have the time and energy to attend the lectures, I do, but most of the time I am not able to (my job is quite draining). What is great about IU that their text book material is really well worded and explained that not being able to attend all the lectures but reading only the material still is able to get me learn a lot of the things in depth. The tutors are also very helpful and always help to answer the questions that I may have also outside the lectures. I study comp-sci so I can only speak to that though. But so far for me the experience has been great! 10000000% recommend!

The easiness to combine studying with work life is great. What ashtonished me is the emphasis of statistics on thesis, since it’s 5 study points of 180.

I appreciate the university’s professionalism, helpfulness, and clear communication. The staff are friendly and responsive, which makes the overall student experience very positive.

My experience has been great, the MBA is demanding, you really need to understand the concepts to approve and the content is updated. I totally recommend it if you want to learn and connect the knowledge with real applications, in my case AI applied to my job. Now I am starting my capstone project with high expectations.

I’ve genuinely enjoyed my experience studying at IU International University of Applied Sciences.

Coming from Zimbabwe, I never thought I’d have the opportunity to study at a university built on German academic standards without leaving home. That’s probably the biggest thing IU has given me: access to an international education that would have been difficult for me to pursue otherwise.

The flexibility has made a huge difference. I’ve been able to fit my studies around other responsibilities, and the online learning platform is easy to navigate. The course materials are well structured, so it’s always clear what you need to focus on.

One person who has made a real difference during my studies is my study coach, Jannis. Whenever I’ve had questions or needed guidance, he’s been approachable, supportive, and willing to help. I’ve really appreciated his perspective and the way he encourages students to stay on track.

I also want to recognize the professors. They’re active on Microsoft Teams, respond to questions, and even organize extra sessions when students need more support. Even though the programme is fully online, it never feels like you’re left to figure everything out on your own.

IU has shown me that quality higher education doesn’t have to be limited by where you live. It has given me confidence that I’m building skills that can open doors internationally, and I’d gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a flexible, well supported, and internationally recognized university experience.

I’m looking forward to finishing my studies and seeing where this journey takes me next.

It has always been on my mind to study Cybersecurity and I used to explore online platforms to learn about it. However, when I got enrolled in IU, my level of knowledge and understanding of the cybersecurity foundations has drastically grown beyond what I could never have imagined. IU is a well-structured institution with updated and globally recognized curriculum and they provide everything students need to be successful in their studies. Words can't be enough for me to explain how great IU is, and it a great pleasure to be enrolled in such a fantastic institution.

the professors are very kind, understandable and respond to any questions within 24 hours. They also try to resolve any issues you might have within 24 hours. The courses are very applicable in real-life

Truly like that the courses are 100 percent at your own pace, the instructors tend to be responsive and there are a multitude of resources to help with understanding the course information. My only complaint would be the online exam portal. It’s a challenge to do high level math and science calculations using the online exam page. Anyone who is not really fast with typing and computer savvy will struggle with the exam and the time allotted to complete it when it comes to extensive math solutions.

The experience with IU has been great, they are thorough, and helpful, and the student community has been great, the university offers ready help and assistance to those who need it, all you have to do is ask. Been with them for 6 months and I would reccomend them to anybody.

Overall, I'd say studying at IU actually opened my eyes to a whole new reality about education.... I mean, in Nigeria, we're made to believe that "if it stress you, then you're definitely doing the right thing", we're made to believe that it actually has to hurt for it to count. Until I became a part of the IU community....
