Bought Urban Jungle Double Swing Set
Bought Urban Jungle Double Swing Set . Cost 319 euro. 21/7/25. Took most of a month to arrive . Finally got it near end august. Unfortunately it’s a rickety thing. Wood bends and squeaks . It’s less than a year old now and it’s much worse. Wood just seems bad quality . Weak and bendy. Very squeaky. Lots of large cracks in it . Feels only a matter of time before it snaps . Maybe I just got a bad one but I wouldn’t buy again. Hennessys after a few emails back and forth finally sent on some ground anchors but that’s not the issue unfortunately it’s just a poor product.

3 weeks to deliver an Irish made product to a location in Ireland is too long when compared with other online deliveries.
That being said, it is a great product and we have since ordered another 2 seater garden seat.

Missing Parts of Playhouse
I bought a playhouse from Hennessy and used the assembly service they recommended, paying nearly €400 for the installation. After spending almost €1,500 on the full playhouse package, you would expect a basic level of care and quality control.
Instead, only during installation did I discover that several parts were missing — the swing, the telescope, and the picnic table were never sent.
The assembly team then told me they would charge an additional €100 to return on another day, even though the missing parts were not my fault.
When I contacted Hennessy, I was told the only thing they could do was send the missing parts. No support with completing the installation, no accountability, and no explanation for how such a large portion of the order was overlooked.
For a company handling these products every day, it’s difficult to understand how so many components could be missed. It raises a very valid question about their quality control and customer care.

To clarify, we do not offer an in-house assembly service. Where requested, we provide customers with details for independent third-party assembly providers, but any arrangements, pricing, or return visit charges are agreed directly between the customer and the assembler.
When we were made aware that some items were missing from your order, we arranged for the missing parts to be sent out straight away. We understand this was inconvenient, particularly as it was discovered during installation, and we appreciate how disappointing that would have been. This is not a normal occurrence as you can see from our previous reviews.
While we cannot take responsibility for charges or arrangements made with a third-party installer, we did act immediately once the missing items were brought to our attention. We’re always happy to assist with any product-related queries and support customers where we can.

We bought a playset from Hennessy…
We bought a playset from Hennessy timber group. The whole frame rotted within 3 years even though it’s treated timber. Tried to contact them with photographs and was going to purchase a replacement frame, sent 2 emails and left messages no one ever got back to me. Poor customer service wouldn’t purchase again.

While our timber is pressure-treated for durability, we do advise that all play units should be inspected annually to ensure they are kept in good condition and to identify any early signs of weathering so they can be maintained properly.

Where do I start… absolutely fantastic company to deal with. Ordering was easy as I used a payment plan. Although there was an issue on the website, Amy was quick to send me a link so I could make my payments easily and hassle free. The team were always quick to respond whenever I had a question. Once I had it paid off the delivery came within 3 days.. I was gobsmacked at how quick it was. My kids will be thrilled with their new playhouse for Christmas! Would definitely recommend them. A great Irish company for sure!

Garden dreams fulfilled
Great product but for the high cost, few things to highlight for improvement: 1. Porch fixtures were supposed to be different lengths from front and side, but all were the same. 2. Ordered a sandbox but got a chukdrens garden bench. 3. Instructions are not as clear with assembly to additional product such as slide (when to felt roof with regard to slide extension). 4. Instructions highlighted to put slide off the side but product purchased is slide on the front which is not recommended.
