Dreadful. Posted a review about my old company, only for them to remove it for no reason. They are protecting fraudlent businesses, and businesses that operate appallingly.

Useless, as other reviewers mentioned you can't read anything without having to disclose your whole life to them; and even then, they still block most of the reviews.

Much better than Indeed

Much better than Indeed.
But still pro companies, regardless of how they treat their employees. Glassdoor is definitely not fair in that respect.
But Indeed is outrageous by comparison.

Horrible website

This website will force you to login and go through five or more prompts to sign up for services and information-gathering technologies that have NOTHING to do with how you are seeking employment.

Do not recommend to use it, absolute nightmare

I was already very unpleasant to give a feedback about an employer every 12 months or so before you could access some informations about a company you are interested in (if you did not change your job for a couple of years , you have to lie or what?) and now it is just impossible to access even your own account without going through the unique login with indeed. Sorry but i have 0 interest in indeed and I do not want to shar emy phone number! Do not recommend to use it, absolute nightmare

This service is now for companies

This service is now for companies. They know who you are, you cannot report fake reviews, and they allow companies to manipulate the narative with loads of HR and recruiter 5* written reviews, which they pin at the top of the 99% 1* comments. Now you have one loving with Indeed? That makes money off companies. Do not trust it at all! Waiting until a real and fair reviews companies comes out to replace it.

Glassdoor

Glassdoor? More like steel gate because of how difficult it is to access the content. It's so annoying to visit the website with their constant pop-ups in your face, and then you need to sign in to read any reviews. When you do that you realize you now also need to post your own reviews in order to read others'. Well, what if someone does not yet have any work experience but tries to read up on a company before applying? You really need to hire an UI/UX professional to redesign your website, it is utterly useless in its current state.

Contact form doesn't work!

They created a contact us page which doesn't create ticket, the form doesn't submit! The support email doesn't work! Fake imposters pretending to be employees writing reviews and these people are talking about community guidelines. Shut down the company!!

Uses your info without permission to apply for jobs you don't want

It automatically takes me halfwat through the application process when I just click on a job. Also, applying is always about 3 pages to click through and 5 questions, no spot of a Cover Letter. It's so easy to apply they must be fake jobs or not sending over your information. I wouldn't hire anyone without a cover letter. And it's not even an option.

Meta has the worst support I have faced…

Meta has the worst support I have faced in my life. They don't solve anything 99% of the time, and every interaction is a painful waste of time. Don't advertise with them; look for alternatives. I have problems created by them on the financial side with their changes in the charging process, bugs on the technical side with integrations, which we followed all their instructions, and nothing got solved. They complete the tickets without solving, and the reopen gets the process from ground 0 again. They are just a NO NO NO p.s. I have been working with their services for over 10 years, and it just gets worse.

Get a random email from Glassdoor to view a review of an old company. Cant view it without logging in. Fair enough, but then they want a 2nd login into Indeed ! Which I reject. Their option to continue without the Indeed login does not work. Idiots.

In my experience

In my experience, this was one of the most unethical companies I have worked with.

There was constant pressure around manipulating perception rather than focusing on real transparency and value. I also witnessed practices that raised serious concerns around authenticity and credibility of reviews and reputation management.

A platform that claims to stand for transparency should hold itself to the same standard.

Companies and employees deserve a system built on fairness, verification, and accountability — not one where anonymous narratives and questionable practices can heavily influence reputations without proper checks and balances.
