Leather deformity: Poor Workmanship, Unfinished Edges and Terrible Packaging
Very disappointing finishing and packaging
It is a pity to produce a leather bag that could otherwise be attractive and then spoil it with such poor finishing and packaging. The bag I received has several raw, rough and visibly unfinished leather edges, particularly around the handles and attachment points. The edges look frayed rather than professionally cut, sealed or finished. This is not the kind of workmanship I would expect from a properly finished leather bag.
In addition, the bag was packed in a way that left it badly compressed, wrinkled and deformed when it arrived. A leather bag of this size and construction should be adequately filled and protected during shipping so that it retains its shape.
I understand that genuine leather naturally develops variations, wrinkles and character, and I am not complaining about that. My complaint concerns the quality of the construction and finishing. For the price paid, I expected a professionally finished product, not a bag with untreated-looking edges and a distorted shape.

Eco-Friendly Packaging: As part of our commitment to sustainability, we deliberately avoid single-use plastics and excessive synthetic stuffing materials during transit. While this eco-conscious approach protects the environment, it can occasionally result in the leather becoming compressed during shipping. Genuine leather is naturally pliable and will regain its intended shape within a few days of regular use or by lightly filling it.
Raw Edges & Traditional Craftsmanship: Many of our products feature a raw, natural finish to highlight the authentic character of traditional leather crafting. Rather than applying thick chemical edge-sealants, we intentionally preserve the natural cut edges, which can give a more rustic look.
That being said, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If the craftsmanship on your specific item appears defective or below standard, please reach out to our support team directly at info@gusti-leder.de with a few photos. We will be more than happy to review your case and find a suitable solution for you.

I haven't received my order yet but I must say i'm already impressed with their customer services particularly Sara. The shoe sizes can be very tricky if you are used to UK chat sizing I initially ordered the wrong shoe size and emailed them asking if they could send me the right size. Unfortunately the order had already gone through to their warehouse so they couldn't change it. However, Sara immediately cancelled the order advising me to reorder the actual size which she kindly helped me to work out. She was extremely prompt, helpful & pleasant. Thank you very Much Sara. It’s asustainable and qualitative
It’s almost 10 years since I have the model called Becky today, transformed into an A5 ring binder. It is weathered, still valiant, and durable because it has traveled everywhere and not in good conditions. I bought a Becky model to go with it, same invoice, same quality, just like my other Gusty products.

Ordered a small bag that was described…
Ordered a small bag that was described as 2 in 1, consisting of a small purse and a larger bag. But received only one. Looks like a scam.
As a follow up the the responce below I'd like to confirm the scam origin of the website because they asked me to pay for the return shipping and did not provide with the explanations why the product on the website is different from what I received. Looks like they earn money on shipments rather than selling products.

Nice and perfect bags
I've just move to Germany for almost 4 years and my husband introduced me Gusti Tasche products. First, he bought me 2 bags and I loved them very much. Then, I started to do shopping myself from Gusti online shop. Frankly speaking, I did compare price and design with other leder products, then I found that the products from Gusti are cheaper and look nicer in its way (real leather products)
Also, there are many details and certificates about the leather from Gusti website which make me sure that I can get real leather from this brand.

Handel with caution
My advice to anyone considering purchasing from this brand:
1. Inspect the product extremely carefully before leaving the store.
2. If you have even the slightest doubts about the workmanship or finishing quality, do not buy it. No craftsman I know would be proud of such work.
3. If problems arise afterward, be prepared for the possibility that your concerns will be dismissed as “normal characteristics” of handmade leather rather than treated as legitimate quality issues.
I chose this brand because of its strong messaging around sustainability and craftsmanship. However, sustainability should also mean durability, consistency, and standing behind the quality of a product once it has been sold. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those values.
Although customer service remained polite throughout the process, I ultimately felt that obvious workmanship concerns were minimized rather than genuinely addressed. Based on my experience, I would not purchase from this brand again.

Beautiful item but impossible to use
The item came fast to Sweden and it was high quality and beautiful.
Sadly I believe that the item was never actually tested with pets, because it was impossible to use and it collapses when the pet is in it. I’m talking about a 3 kg dog. I had to send it back.

Aber natürlich sollst du nicht das Gefühl haben, dass da bald etwas kaputtgeht.

Design good, quality poor
The design is like in the photos, but the quality of the leather is quite poor. It is thin and therefore the shape of the whole piece easily goes ‘off’, and the straps and how the straps are fixed just looks cheap.
I had unwrapped the bag and the buckles before I realized the poor quality, so I unfortunaltely have to keep it.
