The care and attention paid to the planning of our trip to Africa taking into account my wife’s mobility issues.

Eclipse Travel were very professional in helping us to plan our South American holiday. Their travel consultant, Meike, has excellent first-hand knowledge of South America. She listened carefully and followed up thoroughly to produce an itinerary that all hung together really well. As an out-of-town residents, we had no issues dealing with a Sydney-based company. Every pick-up and transfer went like clockwork. The result was a great holiday with a series of brilliant destinations.

The nature was amazing and the tour provider did a good job of cramming everything we saw within 8 days. We were a little bit misinformed about how hard the travel would be between sites. 4-8hrs per day in a 4WD. The tour should have probably been sold more like a 4WD adventure as that’s what we did most of the time because the road were so terrible. We later found out that there is an option to fly between locations, which would have saved us many days in travel and we would have been able to see a lot more. We wish we had of known this was an option and how long the driving was at the time of booking. That said, all the tour guides/drivers were amazing and the nature was great.

Eclipse Travel while not being exceptional provided all the necessary services to support the tour booked.

All transfers on time. Hotels very comfortable. Only issue we had was on an internal flight where no luggage was booked for the infant and his luggage cost us $400 to have checked. Otherwise tour went very smoothly and all guides and drivers were wonderful. Am hoping to travel to japan next year and hopefully you do tours there as would live to use you again

Daniel at Eclipse Travel was a terrific agent - very helpful and responsive, understood the type of things our group wanted to do and advised us well on itinerary and locations. He knows South America so well and had great ideas and knowledge.

We loved gjtravel Iceland trip. We booked through eclipse travel. We weren’t impressed with eclipse travel. We didn’t feel our representative was friendly or reached out much after booking.

Booking process was easy and I got some good additional suggestions from Luke, who did my booking. The trip was well organised and everything went smoothly, accommodation was lovely. Seeing the Shoebill Stork was a wonderful experience.
Only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 was the gorilla trek, which was a bit out of Eclipse's control. I asked for an easy trek and actually got a very hard one, because I was travelling alone and the numbers were not in my favour. Even the porters said it was a difficult walk and it was not enjoyable at all. Still good to see the gorillas, but would have been so much better if they hadn't gone into the bushes by the time we arrived.

We were planning a trip to South America and were recommended Eclipse Travel by a friend of a friend. We contacted them and worked with Daniel, who was very attentive to our needs. He understood our requirements as active 60-plus year-olds who enjoyed food and wanted to visit Machu Picchu in Chile and Iguazu Falls. We subsequently extended our trip to Central America, resulting in a two-month adventure through Chile, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. The itinerary was well-paced, offering a variety of activities. The local travel teams were exceptional and we encountered no issues. Communication was excellent, from the documents on the portal to the local teams contacting us the day before to confirm timings. We highly recommend Eclipse Travel and intend to use them again.

We had a memorable South America trip, travelling through 5 countries over 40 days.

We learned a lot from the local guides and enjoyed the beauty of landscapes. They were very knowledgeable of the history and culture about the countries that we visited.
Yet the programs on some dates could be delivered in a better fashion as one or two local guides were not time conscious enough.
Overall, we had a wonderful and enjoyable trip to South America.

We had 6 weeks of amazing experiences in South America. There were four of us, all retirees, and it was our first time to South America. We used Eclipse Travel to help us organise the tour. In addition to their 21 days Pato Andino group tour covering the Andes , we wished also to visit Patagonia, Iguazu Falls, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago and see the Nazca lines.
Tiffany, the tour designer, was very helpful right from the beginning. She tried to fit all the places that we wanted to visit before and after the group tour, within our time frame, and made practical suggestions. She and the support team at Eclipse, together with local operators in respective countries, organised everything, from return tickets Sydney and Santiago, transport within South America like flights, public buses, transfers between airport and hotel, hotels, private tours or local tours where applicable. We were well looked after and everything ran smoothly. There were some issues with a couple of hotels but that got dealt with quickly.
As for the group tour, it was nice to have Liz, our tour leader , so we did not have to worry about anything. It was especially invaluable when she managed to get us out of La Paz in the midst of blockades and reroute.
All the local guides were knowledgeable and passionate about the places they represented. I can say I learned quite a bit more now about the countries and places that we visited, besides enjoying the amazing and varied landscape.
We covered a lot of ground in 6 weeks, from snow capped mountains, glacier lakes, majestic waterfalls, rivers ,oceans, beaches, to the driest desert on earth, salt flats, Islands of reeds; and there were the people, the dancing, the colour, the artefacts, the culture.

South America is a vast continent of many countries, each has its own characteristics Our combination of private tours and group tour served us well, thanks to the team at Eclipse Travel ravel.

Very good trip with expectations met. Very comfortable ship with knowledgeable and courteous crew, good food. Ship transfers seamless. Booking process straightforward. Would certainly consider another trip with Poseidon.

Everything was organised for us. We didn’t have to worry about a thing.

A very good itinerary covering our requests put together by Tiffany who was enthusiastic and prompt in her replies. Many out of the way places were visited by private car and often a guide at the destination too. Accommodation was varied, nothing really bad and some very,very good considering many of our stops were in remote areas. Overall it was a fantastic trip. Thanks Tiffany.

Lyndal - who looked after our planning and packaging of the trip - was brilliant.

All went very smoothly on the trip - although, at times, the local contact was not always who we were expecting: thoroughly enjoyable - saw all the animals we could have hoped to.

I visited Peru’s Inca Trail and Machu Picchu, the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands with a group of 3 friends. Lara at Eclipse organised an itinerary that ticked all my boxes plus more. The trip went smoothly and according to plan. All the local guides and operators were very knowledgeable and helpful, which made the trip stress free and enjoyable. The hotels were superb. I highly recommend Eclipse Travel for a South American adventure.

We were very happy with our experience with Eclipse. The itinerary was flexible, we loved all the camps -everything went like clockwork and Anza was very helpful. We had tried to do the bookings ourselves but the inside knowledge about the camps was invaluable and also getting all the connections with small planes. We flew to Hwange and didn't understand why as we heard it was just a 3 hour road trip. Well the road was in terrible condition and it was taking people double the time and the local travel agent knew to book a flight we were so grateful.If you are scared of flying in Africa so was I but our experience was really wonderful with Mack Air.
