I am a new customer with this firm, after reading positive reviews here I thought they were a reliable firm. How disappointed was I . On my first order I paid extra for a next day delivery via their DHL guaranteed service as I needed the parts quickly . When I got the tracking number it had been dispatched via Royal Mail. When I contacted them after a few emails they said they would try and retrieve my parcel from Royal Mail and re send it via DHL. They did email later to say they had managed to do this. Well I thought staff here not really looking at the customers request and it was a one off. I ordered another few items yesterday and paid for the order at 1330 well before the cut off deadline and paid for 24 Royal Mail service. Well when I asked where my parcel was today, they have sent me an email to say sending it out today. This firm is not reliable, if you need you goods quickly and pay for that service they just don’t care. I will not be using them again.
I have just called them and discovered they don’t actually have all the parts they sell so once you place your order with them they then order from another supplier. So in effect they are just an online re seller . So if you need item fast don’t use this firm.

Easily found what I wanted and ordering was simple. Received immediate confirmation of Order which was dispatched the same day and delivered the following day. It was exactly what I wanted and exactly as described

Ordered my door fittings from e-hardware, they were beautiful, sturdy feeling fixings but unfortunately I ordered the fire door version by mistake. E-hardware were super responsive and helpful and even after things beyond my control meant I was delayed in sending in the return within the 30 days they were very understanding. Now to order the correct version! Would highly recommend!

To be honest I don’t write too many of these. However, if it needs to be said and at my age it needs to be. My experience was fantastic, they answered the phone quickly, they answered my questions. And did what they said they would do. Placed my order with them over the phone. It came the next morning before 12. Brilliant thank you. My daughter who the handles are for was very happy with them and now just down to the Joiner to fit them on her house renovation. The whole team needs to be thanked. Would recommend and will be using them again.

Poor Customer Service in Addressing Faulty Items

I recently purchased three keyed-alike Euro sash locks, only to discover that two of the three locks were faulty. Specifically, when the lock mechanism and barrel holder are joined together, turning the key becomes extremely stiff and often jams.

On 15 May and 20 May 2026, eHardware was notified of the issue, and two short videos were provided to demonstrate the problem with the connecting components.

Since 20 May, I have attempted to contact eHardware by both telephone and email. Unfortunately, each attempt has failed to provide a practical solution to resolve the issue.

At the time of writing, I am still awaiting a response that adequately addresses the faulty items.

Keys advertised as 304 Stainless Steel material and bought.
Delivered Zinc material keys, e-Hardware said they would change the description. Still advertised as below.

This is not true, they are of Zinc material.
No refund, someone out sick for more than 2 weeks!

Nothing wrong with the service received from e-Hardware. The thing that let you down was the fact that although I expected to receive the handles within 48 hrs, I didn't receive the delivery from Royal Mail for over 7days. This I felt let reflected badly on the service.
