The tracking didn’t work properly. And although the staff tried their best to fix it (and were apologetic), the experience just wasn’t as good as advertised.

Same story as several below. Booked a family visit, my 10 year old meets the height and age requirments specified on the website. 45 minute drive, had to pay for parking, only to be told our daughter wasn't tall enough and ride the kart. Lady behind the counter was rude and aggressive. Tried to request a refund, but was told I was abusive and they became non-responsive. Terrible customer service, no culpability. Eventually had to do a charge back through credit card. Horrible experience. Avoid!
I booked this for my 11-year-old son, who is exactly 150 cm tall — the stated minimum height. At check-in, his height was measured and passed, but he then had to try a go-kart to check his seating position. Unfortunately, his foot wasn’t completely flat on the pedal, so he was told he couldn’t ride. I completely understand this from a safety point of view, and we did get a refund.
However, my son was very upset and embarrassed, and the trip ended up being a waste of time for us. I just want other parents to be aware that even if your child meets the height requirement, they may still be turned away if their seating position isn’t suitable — especially for children around this age and height — to avoid disappointment.
Booked a session at Chaos Karts for 6:40 PM, paying £90 for three tickets. Due to an accident on the motorway, we were stuck for two hours and knew we’d miss our slot. We called multiple times to explain and request a later session, but nobody answered. Google lists their hours until 10PM, but apparently, customer service doesn’t exist past booking your ticket.
Their website showed availability later that evening, yet there’s no option to amend bookings - a glaring lack of customer-focused service.
We weren’t wanting a refund, just a chance to attend at another time - an entirely reasonable request given the circumstances. They took our money and left us hanging.
We have since made contact but they were unwilling to help. Chaos Karts had the opportunity to show some basic goodwill and flexibility, but no. With the cost-of-living crisis, dropping £90 for nothing because of an unavoidable motorway accident is disgraceful. Their rigid and unhelpful policies suggest they care more about profits than customers.
Think twice before booking - because if anything outside your control happens, Chaos Karts will take your money and run.

The experience is mostly good for racers but we were unfortunate enough to encounter Darren today at the venue. I had an awkward encounter surrounding a misunderstanding of the rules meaning I can’t race myself but Darren was incredibly rude and over-animated and intimidating. I’m not sure he understands good customer service etiquette for somebody who claims to have been in the industry for 20 years. My friends actually had to step in and defend me at one point because he was being overly dismissive and disrespectful towards me. Such a shame. I can understand why his colleagues don’t smile much either having to work under him. Wish things could have been different. Totally ruined a special birthday and what should have been a friendly conversation. Seems there’s a lot of negative reviews about the manager here, the staff not being happy, and how the guest services complaints handle things - not feeling hopeful about getting my money back!
A D grade is actually a compliment when rating Darren’s customer service skills. I’d say he is totally inept to be in the kind of role he is in. And office job with no contact with absolutely anyone would suit him much better. I think he could be happy there.

Prevented from taking part due to having had a drink 5 hours earlier. No information was provided beforehand about this prohibition. Having a comment in a web-site Q&A is not adequate. Utterly unacceptable and ruined something we had been looking forward to.
Cannot recommend.

We turned up to our booking on June 22nd at 7pm, I really don't know where to start, we where asked how our day has been, the four of us had just been for a meal before heading to this experience, out of the blue another person comes over to us, asks if we have drank alcohol, I replied yes I've had one drink with my meal, he instantly got aggressive and stated you can't participate today, I asked why, I was told it states it on the website that you cannot consume alcohol, I replied where, I had read all the info on the website before booking, knowing we where going for a meal first, again he replied on our website, I throughout this whole time was very calm and talking softly to him, this guy was getting very loud and irate, I asked him to lower his tone 2-3 times at this point, he got up on the screen somewhere where it said you can't drink alcohol, he was very pleased with himself smiling away, I clicked on the page and scrolled to the top where it stated FAQ's, I told him thats not terms and conditions, again I asked him to show me, he said it's all sent out in our confirmation email, realistically this should be stated before paying, not after, he still however never did show me this, at this point I no longer wanted to participate but his rudeness was on another level, he couldn't quietly communicate with myself or the other 3 people I was with without addressing the whole room, very loud and proud, again I asked him to keep calm, at this point I asked to speak to a manager, he them stated I am the manager (Darren), he then stormed off, we're in our 40's, two couples, myself and my other male friend are managers of our own companies, we know how to talk to people, this Darren was just rude, he could've handled the situation so much better, at one point he stated it's common sense not to drink before handling heavy machinery, if you can drive a car, you can drive a go kart, also if he would've actually asked or attempted to be a rational person, only 2 of us had 1 pint, the other two had not, I have not been so insulted in a very long time, such a rude person, I hope someone takes note of this and has a word with him, his lack of management skills is shocking

They cancelled our booking 3 weeks before my Hen do. No reason, no apology. They obviously had a better and more profitable offer.

Company shares identical website and brand to a location in Dubai. Refused to exchange aor refund a booking made at the wrong location in error. Really unfriendly policy. Sarcastic reply to request for help.

With less than 48 hours to go until our booking, I received an email stating my booking had been cancelled due to operational issues and that I would be refunded. This is highly disappointing and left our group looking for alternate activities at short notice with a lot of them unsurprisingly being booked up at this short notice.
I have read similar reviews on trip advisor where other groups have had their bookings cancelled at short notice also. I would suggest avoiding booking with this company or having another activity prepared as a back up.
