Excellent range of books in print. I appreciate the possibility of wait-listing books to be published in the future. Cheaper than other sellers.

I find it deeply concerning..
I find it deeply concerning that a major Swedish bookseller chooses to promote and profit from literature built around sweeping narratives about the alleged “Islamization” of Sweden and Europe.
There is an important distinction between legitimate criticism of Islamism, religious doctrines, or political movements and portraying an entire religion and its diverse population of believers as a collective civilizational threat. Muslims are not a homogeneous political group, and Islam and Islamism are not interchangeable concepts. Serious analysis requires historical context, reliable evidence, nuance, and a clear distinction between individuals, religious beliefs, and extremist political ideologies.
The rhetoric of portraying a minority as an existential threat to the nation, suggesting that society is being infiltrated or gradually “taken over,” should also be viewed in its historical context. European fascist and Nazi propaganda repeatedly relied on narratives of collective suspicion, internal enemies, demographic threat, and national decline. That does not automatically make every criticism of immigration or religion “Nazi,” but similarities in this type of rhetoric deserve serious scrutiny.
Freedom of expression absolutely includes Richard Jomshof’s right to publish controversial political arguments. But freedom of expression also includes the right to scrutinize those arguments rigorously and to question how they are marketed. A bookstore does not need to censor controversial literature, but politically charged claims about millions of people should not be presented as though they were established, neutral facts.
There are approximately two billion Muslims worldwide, representing an enormous diversity of nationalities, cultures, political views, religious interpretations, and ways of life. Treating such a vast and diverse population as a single threatening entity is neither a serious nor evidence-based way to discuss complex social issues.
Sweden deserves serious debate about integration, extremism, religion, immigration, and social problems. Such debate should be based on evidence, nuance, and individual responsibility - not fear, collective suspicion, or the construction of an entire religious minority as a threat to society.
Needed a book fast
Needed a book fast. They wrote on their homepage: delivery in two days. What the didn’t tell was that it five days for them to find the book and then deliver it within two days. Bogus is what it is.
"Sent from us within 7-10 days"
"Sent from us within 7-10 days"
Well, it's been 6 weeks and they still haven't received the book I ordered. It's a book I desperately need for my studies.
Delivery times are not to be trusted
Delivery times are not to be trusted, they may be whatever even when quoted eg. 1-3days. The availability and selection of books is good though.
Deceptive delivery time listing
Deceptive delivery time listing
I ordered a book from Bokus 2 weeks ago.
After I ordered the book, suddenly the delivery time changed to 10-12 working days (so > 2 weeks) to their warehouse plus delivery time by the courier
+ If the book wasn't in their warehouse, why didn't the listing include that in the delivery time?
+ Bokus has that information (otherwise they wouldn't know after the order), but purposely withheld that.
In short, it was a waste of time trying to buy from Bokus.

Dishonest marketing
Bokus give false delivery times on their website. The product page says 5–10 days, yet it’s been 18 days and the items haven’t even reached their holding center. Since this is the third time this happens, I canceled the order and taking my business elsewhere.

Two weeks to receive a book in the year of our lord 2025??
I ordered a book for my husband's birthday ten days before the event. Unfortunately it took a full two weeks to arrive, so I had to rush out and buy a copy from a brick and mortar shop.
I tried to cancel the order and was told it was already too late, and now I have to pay return postage on a book which I only don't want because the delivery time was so long.
I paid over the odds because I wanted to support a smaller national company rather than a huge conglomerate that would deliver in 48 hours but lesson learned! Two stars because customer service has been swift to reply if utterly unhelpful.

Takes way too much time to get your delivery. Ordered there now for the second time and same thing. First time it took 1.5 weeks to get a note that the books were dispatched. Needed the books for a birthday which was super annoying. Arrived after 2 weeks. Now same thing. Ordered a week ago and getting a confirmation of book being dispatched after one week. Book is still not here. Wouldn’t order there again.
Great Swedish Bookstore for Shipment Internationally
I ordered a series of detective stories on this site along with an international shipment to Poland. I was a bit afraid because of the reviews left on Trustpilot and I was not sure whether the delivery will reach the address (I ordered not to my personal house, but to a Polish department of Nova Post which then sends it to Ukraine). Still, everything went smoothly. All the books ordered were in stock, the prices were reasonable, the payment with a credit card went correctly and at once, I got a confirmation email with a tracking number (the only drawback here is that the tracking number had an extra digit in the end, but the link was valid). I placed the order on 25th July and got my books safe and sound on 1st August. I also liked the bright orange packaging and not a standard dull brown box.
What I would like to add to the site is more international literature (at least Scandinavian). And maybe adding some info about the order of the books in the series. Everything else is great, I will definitely order more soon, thank you!

Very Bad service not responding I ordered 4 books I have received only 3
I took a lot of time to get what you ordered
I don't recommend Bokus
If you need books or study materials urgent I don't recommend Bokus as delivery times are quit long. Customer service is not great either.
Very shady and scammy
Very shady and scammy. I ordered a book in swedish on their site for 140 kr. The book I received was in English (a swedish book). I wrote them and they told me they made a mistake on their site and it should have said it was in English. Then link me to the swedish book which was 250 kr. Ridiculous and reeks of scam. This isn't the first time I've had issues with them.

Horrible
Horrible. The company doesn’t show the real delivery time when you order. You will get information after you already buy from them. It says it would takes 5-7 days for them to send an order to courier. Now it has been more than 7 days and the courier still hasn’t received the item from them.
I will not buy anything from this company ever again.
Customer service? Rude and pointless
In order to chase the status of an order you might ring the customer service at Bokus - don't bother! They are rude and simply don't care. Wrote an email explaining this and got the standard non-apology "sorry you FEEL you had a bad experience." Honestly, I'd go to Adlibris in future
Terrible app
Terrible app. Have tried to download one book 5 times comes up saying only 1 minute remains for the download and then I get the death wheel. So disappointed ☹️
Avoid if you can
They always write that any book is available and will ship 2-7 days after order but it's a complete lie.
You're lucky if they ship at all.
TERRIBLE POLICY AND SERVICE
TERRIBLE POLICY AND SERVICE.
I pay 29 SEK of shipping but then if I want to return the book I have to pay 148 SEK. It's more than what I paid for the book.
Disgusting.
