List products they can't fulfill. Don't even bother with them.

Awful company very rude unhelpful customer service. Sent me the wrong items ( I have proof before you try to remove my review again !) then refused to refund and wanted me to pay to return. Very unpleasant service please avoid

Way too long delivery period… 5+ days to ship the products but they promise other things in their webshop…

They are more or less OK until you have a problem. I used their services for several years, until one time the package arrived completely destroyed and I insisted on getting a full refund. They gave me the refund but also blocked my account and my home address. I can't order from this store anymore.

I read reviews online after I had purchased which made me worry about it coming , how wrong was I . Items arrived within a week. Great place and good pricing , I will definitely buy from them again in the future.

I Placed an order on 7th July 2025, I kept checking regularly to see if items had been posted after reading reviews on here saying they take a while to deliver. I Emailed customer services on 3rd August asking about the reason for the delay but was ignored. Then I received an email on 6th August saying the order had been cancelled with the reason 'Shipping not possible'. I've been refunded via PayPal but cannot understand how or why an online business would be ran like this in 2025.

Im not buying anything from these guys again and neiter should you. I bought aquarium equipment from them months ago that was faulty to the extent that it shocked my corals. I wrote to them about the issue twice and they never answered. It is a sad situation.

Also shipping took a very long time and there was a hidden cost of 600kr (About 60USD).

Please don't trust these guys with your hard earned money and the lives of your fish/corals.

Ordered fish food from them it been 10 days and no news from them not answering phone not responding to the emails, Contacted my bank for redund process unfortunately scammers

After asking multiple times for a status update about my order (placed > 15 days before). Got one time the reply that my order would be shipped in one of the next days. Days later, still no tracking. Asked 2 more times for an update, didn't receive any reply. Asked them to cancel my order, happened minutes later. Luckily payed via Paypal, so refund is on its way.

Blames DHL, ignores emails, and leaves the customer to pay the price

I ordered from this shop, which uses DHL for shipping. Because they failed to include the VOEC number, I ended up paying VAT twice, plus import processing fees, which totaled around €60 if you don't include the extra VAT. This was completely avoidable.

For context: In Norway, when a shop is VOEC-registered, you pay VAT at checkout. That means you should not be charged an additional import handling fee of 30 EUR + VAT on the VAT itself. It's the whole reason VOEC exists — to simplify imports and avoid double taxation.

The shop admitted DHL didn’t handle the VOEC number correctly, but instead of helping resolve the issue or offering the full refund, they just blamed DHL and took no responsibility. No apology, no compensation, and no solution.

The correct approach would be to refund me in full, and take the issue up with DHL themselves — that’s how responsible sellers operate. If they don’t, DHL will keep making these mistakes, and customers will keep paying for them.

They told me “only 1 in 10 parcels gets taxed twice” (which is unacceptable) — but it’s happened to me twice in a row, which says a lot. I've emailed multiple times and been completely ignored.

This shop shifts blame, provides no support, and lets customers pay the price for their logistics issues. Not trustworthy. Avoid if you're ordering internationally.

They did not send it and package is in process never sent it. PayPal got money back don’t bother

I bought a new Aqua Medic RO unit which arrived with a broken connection which was causing a leak.
I contacted the shop for the part, which I could easily fit myself. All I got from them was a link to the part which I could buy for a further 15 euros! If there are no problems with the goods, they are reasonably cheap, (though beware of customs charges bumping the price up.) However their customer service is very poor if there are any problems. I won't use them again.

Boy is the shop cheap. But boy does it fall down if your in the uk. I bought a water chiller. It did not work on arrival. They said I would have to pay the postage back.. well it was £650 yes cheap for that £900+ in the uk. I sent it but then customs wanted the VAT on it. Although it clearly stated it was a return and the Aquaristikshop at first said I would have to pay the import tax as well. As I did not know about issue with returns and it's not on there site I was now heavily out of pocket. I was not once rude to Aquaristikshop but they stopped replying to my email stating it has a European guarantee. Thing is a European guarantee means it has to go back to the same shop. In a nut shell they are no help after sales and do not honour the guarantee or warranty. If you want help then there is an English guy I sent it to once I got it back from customs in Holland and he fixed and returned it. Your mad if you buy off Aquaristikshop can not say you have not been warned. As for those of us who remember Bullseye with Jim Bowen that's the Gamble. Aquaristikshop are all about money and not after sales. They would not even pay towards the cost of the uk distributor who fixed for me. His details I will put at the end of this blog. If I wrote all the above you can understand I was couple of light years past miffed with Aquaristikshop. As I said you been warned. Mark in the UK on the other hand, let you decide that one when you speak to him.. Our address is:

The only downside was that took three weeks to arrive.Customs to UK sorted,decent price.Will back.

Very helpful support after first contact to help me with repair and spare parts. Offerd to send me parts to do it myself or to send it to their service to fix it.

They serviced my co2 regulator bought 4 years ago in 2-3 days without any charge and returned it to me for free.

I buy all my aquarium equipment from Aquaristick Shop. Fast delivery and prices when shopping within the EU. Great service and avoids those UK Shops import tax after Brexit. Thanks 👍

Probably the best place to buy aquarium supplies in Europe, they pretty much have everything available at the best prices.

Downsides - hence the 4 star rating

Delivery takes ages, if you order on a Monday the order doesn't get shipped for at least a week(if in a rush order somewhere else), then once shipped it takes up to two further weeks for delivery. So on average it takes 3 weeks to receive your stuff.

The biggest problem is their customer service, they never respond to any questions or queries so no point in contacting them.

Once you understand this you'll be happy in the end, just wait and be glad you got a great deal.

Standard ONLINE SCAMMERS or /and FRAUDANTS. Took money and left me without any info. After payment there is no info about postage, no tracking, no respond on emails. Fortunatelly I've paid paypal so will get money back. Bunch of SCAMMERS. AVOID LIKE A fIRE !!!

Alway had orders of these guy's, they keep you updated on delivery info, always replying to my email, delivery time to uk by dhl, then parcel force, takes about 1 week to UK, no problems with import charges, very happy with there service's, they have never let me down.
