Horrendous!! Still waiting for a claim to be dealt with since Sept 2025. A straight forward claim where your insured driver took full responsibility however we are still waiting for the claim to be settled!

I’ve had the displeasure of being with this insurance for 2 years, and it was the biggest mistake. They are quick to take your money—increasing premiums every single year—but when it's time to pay you back, they disappear. I am still owed numerous refunds from the time before I had my permanent Social Security card. They make you jump through hoops, demanding endless paperwork just to exhaust you so you'll give up on your own money.
The staff at the local office are unprofessional and xenophobic. If you don't speak perfect French, they treat you like you're invisible or a nuisance. I’ve wasted hours trying to get help, only to be met with eye-rolls and attitude. Emails go unanswered for weeks. This isn't just bad service; it's a scam. I’m canceling my contract and reporting them. Save your money and your mental health—go somewhere else!

I have never encountered a company as terrible and greedy as this one. Since I didn't have my permanent social security card at the beginning, I had to request multiple refunds for out-of-pocket expenses. As an immigrant, my experience was even worse. Not a single person in this company speaks English. When I visited the main office in my city, the staff were incredibly rude and condescending. Instead of helping, they acted annoyed by my presence because I couldn't speak fluent French. It was blatant discrimination.
I’ve wasted so much time. They promised to help, but I never saw the money, and they completely ignore my emails. I have been a customer for two years, and while my premiums increase every year, the service quality only declines. I am officially canceling my subscription. Enough is enough. Terrible service, stay away!"

C’est la pire entreprise que j’ai jamais rencontrée de ma vie. Ils sont malhonnêtes et cupides. J’ai demandé plusieurs remboursements car je n’avais pas encore ma carte Vitale définitive à l'époque, mais je n’ai jamais revu la couleur de mon argent. Ce sont de petites sommes accumulées, mais le total est important. Les démarches sont d'une complexité sans nom, demandant des documents sans fin.
En tant qu'immigrée, l'accueil a été catastrophique. Personne ne parle anglais dans cette entreprise. Je me suis rendue à l'agence principale de ma ville et le personnel a été méprisant et impoli. Ils ont montré des signes d'agacement évidents au lieu de m'aider, simplement parce que je ne maîtrisais pas le français. C'est inacceptable et discriminatoire.
J'ai perdu un temps fou. Ils m'ont promis de l'aide, mais rien n'a été fait et mes e-mails restent sans réponse. Je suis cliente depuis deux ans, mes cotisations augmentent chaque année mais la qualité de service, elle, ne fait que se dégrader. Je résilie mon contrat immédiatement. Plus jamais !

my father philip beeson passed away Nov 2024, we are now jan 2026 and no money, you have had all the documents you ahve asked for, you sent an email to me and my brother stating funds will be released Dec 4th 2025 and to expect within 48hrs, so where is it, because of your lack of response and we hired a french lawyer who you refused to talk to, we are now driving from the UK to pay a visit, will you be paying for that expense? and how does my fathers assurance money lose at least 50,000 euros, police have been notified, so how about you pay up

Matmut will charge you for a contract even if you haven't signed any document. They consider your wish to read a contract as acceptance of that contract. I got robbed of 200 euros just because I wanted to make sure of what was in there. Apparently, asking for paperwork equals verbal acceptance to them. And somehow, verbal acceptance is enough for them to initiate the contract. What a joke. I never signed ANYTHING.

Matmut is a cheating company, which wants its client to pay even when the contract are canceled.

Pas d'explication dans leur lettre.
