Wenea ev charging machines are easy to use with the app and there are plenty of them. Customer services also sorted out an issue I had so would highly recommend them. Mike driveaclass.com

The first charging point worked well enough to charge me the £25 deposit but then didn’t charge. I manoeuvred into a different bay and this charging point charged me a further £25 deposit. It then charged me a further £50 during the charge. The actual charge cost was £36 (still comparatively expensive) but my bank account was down £100. Soon after charging completed the £50 was adjusted to the correct amount of £36 so that’s a win!! This took place on Sunday, it’s now Friday and I still haven’t been refunded the 2 x £25 deposit!! Wenea gonna sort out a fairer charging arrangement???

Easy to use but to expensive , petrol cheaper to run unfortunately.

The chargers are so temperamental , and you always take two or three holding deposit off my account before the charge actually works.

Every time I use the chargers in Exeter or Topsham they either say my EV has cancelled the charge or stop after half an hour or so.
This time Wen took 2x£50 from me (as I couldn't get the app to work so needed to use my card) and took me over my overdraft limit.
I am not using the chargers any more which is really disappointing as I don't have a charge point at home so always charge on my way to and from work.
Wenea are loosing about £20 a week as I am not using them.

Rubbish. Refuse to use these anymore. Take your money then car don't charge. 3 attempts later 180 pound into pending. Which then took 6 days to right itself in my bank and still had to phone customer service to start and finish charge. Won't use again.

It works every time which is always a plus and since the extra points have been installed its creates more choice.

On a visit to Exeter none of of the charge points paired with my car. This wasted an hour of my day PLUS Wenea charged £40 for each attempt. This is £200 from my account. Now chasing Wenea for a refund
It was great when we had the Wenea charging point installed right around the corner of my house! I don’t have to drive miles to charge my car anymore. I have had issues but their customer service line promptly solved it and was very helpful! Keep growing in the UK!

Tonight at midnight I found myself trying to change my car at a Wenea charger.
I downloaded the app and followed instructions, but the app would not accept my payment method and the contactless payment touchscreen would not register my card).
I’m now home and have tried again to add my payment details and the app just stalls.
I tried calling the support line and there was not even a ringing tone.
Please Wenea - ensure that the contactless pads are working and make the app more user friendly.

The Spanish (EU) company Wenea, has decided not to omit Chademo cables for charging electric cars. Chademo is used in Mitsubishi and Nissan Leaf Cars. Thus, in Devon where Wenea are installed, one cannot fast charge your electric car (despite the design being better than CCS). Also the car workers in Sunderland will loose their jobs. It is a very selfish policy and a warning to anyone thinking of buying an electric car; watch what will happen if the company / EU don't like your car.
Garbage. My bank flags up these guys as a scam repeatedly and block my charging.
Also, the cost to charge is nearly double most other providers.
Why can't you provide a simple tap and charge service like gridserve?
The app has logged me out (despite ticking the box to stay logged-in), says the password saved on my phone is invalid and doesn't accept the new one after a password reset either. I'm unable to use the app at all, so cannot charge. Additionally, the charging costs are expensive.
