Great company with a very helpful and professional team. They provided me with good work and made the whole process easy and smooth. I really appreciate their quick communication and support.

Was phoned by two separate agents and told I was on a project - I uploaded my certificates and provided referees. References were collected (and I know there was nothing negative on them).
At this point, Randstad stopped all communication with me. I had to chase them, and quickly discovered there was no work available after all - no explanation was given.
Randstad's communication was miserable. The whole experience was a raising and then dashing of hopes. A total waste of everyone's time.

We applied for four different jobs, and for all four applications, we were contacted by the same clearly uninterested recruiter, who told us we could not be hired because we are a couple and have only one car.

Seriously? Since when did being a couple and sharing one car become a hiring criterion?

What makes this even more ridiculous is that our CVs clearly show that we have worked for the same companies for years, so obviously we have already managed our schedules and transportation without any issues.

The latest application was specifically for a morning shift. Yet again, we got the same excuse: we have one car and they “cannot guarantee that we would get the same shifts.” Somehow, the fact that we were applying for a morning shift was conveniently forgotten.

This is an absolute joke and a complete waste of applicants’ time. Recruiters operating in the Gelderland area seriously need to reconsider how they handle candidates. If you already have an issue with hiring a couple who share a car, at least be honest and transparent from the beginning instead of wasting people’s time with pointless calls and applications.

This is the worst agency in the world. They tell you they need you but when work is quiet they let you go immediately. This should stop .

I understood why there are so many negative reviews. I applied for many kind of jobs on Randstad that are closed to my region, only for later the chatbot on WhatsApp said that I wasn’t qualified for any of the jobs. Understandable if my Dutch isn’t good enough for that job. But then after that the recruiter sent me email to text them when I’m available for a call because I didn’t expect they would call me back. They called me only to reject me again, giving me a false hope and wasting my time. There could have been a nicer and more helpful way for communication (such as suggestions what other jobs are suitable for me at this point…).

It's not worth it! Just work for them to experience it yourself!

I had a very disappointing experience with Randstad's recruitment process by Amisha. Communication from the recruiter was extremely poor and unprofessional. My attempts to get in touch consistently remained unanswered, making any meaningful interaction impossible.

The recruiter repeatedly called at times that made it impossible to return the call - typically just minutes before the end of the working day. Additionally, there were instances of “one-ring calls,” where the phone would stop ringing before I even had a chance to respond. This created the impression of a lack of genuine interest in communication.

Overall, the process felt dismissive and poorly managed. As a candidate, I did not feel respected or taken seriously. I would not recommend this recruiter and the agency based on my experience.

To Randstad's replay: two weeks ago I already sent e-mails (inc. official claim) explaining my situation and expressing the complaint - of course nobody bothered to answer, so don't embarrass yourself even further with such comments.

I’ve been trying to contact someone at this agency for a month now and no one answers the phone

This agency is joke.u make appointment for interview and they send confirmation messages and at the end u have appointment with them and they dont call.Then if they dont answer u suppose to send email or call other number i did them both nothing,no answer at least they could say at the beginning,not play around with people

I am writing this review as this company keeps contacting me by email stating that there company is hiring but, never contacts me back. I received a email from the OTS Ind Account Dev. Mgr. named Widly Mendoza, in regarding a job in Eatontown NJ named Laird & Company. It has been days after again with no response. This company should be investigated as they are not an accredited company on BBB. I have given this company personal information for them not to have available positions. I have a background and resume for the position that was offered.
Also if offered a position why is that Widly asked for my resume if your website and app has my information. I think this company is fraudulent and I recommend using another company that responds to applicants in a timely manner.

I give one star because I cannot select zero stars.

I went to an interview for a job where I was supposed to start working. I was accepted by the company and told that I would get a second chance to work there. However, the ladies from the Randstad office decided not to give me a contract.

They said that I spoke badly to them, but this is not true. I was always respectful.

First I was called for an interview. After one week they called me again for a test. After another week they sent me to the company. In total I waited almost one month for this process, and in the end they refused to give me a contract.

This situation is very disappointing because people depend on work to support their families. I hope someone from Randstad management will notice this situation and treat people with more respect.

I was assigned to work for Stock company as a warehouse worker (onpack division). In my second week of work, after leaving the afternoon shift around 10:00 PM, security subjected me to a routine breathalyzer test. While administering the breathalyzer, the woman administering the breathalyzer hit me on the lower part of my nose (fortunately, not in my eye!), causing pain and discomfort. I expressed my disapproval of this incident, which constituted a violation of my physical integrity. The next day, I was called in for a conversation with the manager of Stock's onpack division. She apologized for the incident and downplayed it, saying that nothing had happened to me and that she could terminate my contract today if I wanted! I told her that I usually honor my agreements and would honor my two-week contract period. On October 15, 2025, I received a call from Randstad informing me that my contract would not be renewed at Stock's request. I'm convinced that the reason was my reporting the aforementioned incident during the breathalyzer test! These bastards from this agency obviously don't feel guilty and don't want to pay any compensation. The case will end up in court !.

I dealt with Maria from Randstad for the west-island of Montreal area and think she went above and beyond her role to get me a job. Excellent service.

They give you an interview and make you think that they can give you a job, but instead they completely ghost you and do not follow up with anything.

Misleading information about the job online, When you arrive for the interview , it is not the same information given.
After the group interview , they said they will call the day after, but nothing. After getting all my personal information, gave me hope for nothing. No emails, no calls.
I find it so unprofessional.
I would never recommend them to anyone.

Great Agency with very kindly and efficient staff who helped me many times making my life easier and taking a burden away from their client (often) to the extent that I now have a contract direct with their client (my new employer). Whilst I have left Randstad they have still helped me with follow up matters.

Ranstad recruited by tesxt for a scam/fraudulent company

We lost over a month with a recruitment process in which the location of the job, the accommodation, the type of work and the income/bonuses have constantly been altered. Me and my partner have refused different offers while considering that the one proposed by Randstad might be stable, a big mistake on our side. We've been ignored by recruiters after being lied to, and when we reached higher management, they blamed us for having too many expectations, while we were just trying to confirm an offer and only asked two mere questions before proceeding. The team is acting so sassy and they have no respects towards possible candidates, they don't see them as humans but as resources. Rarely had a worse experience with any other company..

Lack of professionalism is evident, as contract employees are compelled to perform tasks they are not comfortable with. This practice resembles modern slavery, as staff are forced to accept assignments in any department without the option to request a change if they are dissatisfied. Randstard, an agency in the UK, appears to operate under these questionable practices.Very very slow in reply and process of work.

Unbelievably incompetent. HR company that can't handle simple documentation, direction, working rights. They are slow to reply, their emails are hypocritical. There's clearly poor structure and failed upper-management. If you have the time to be messed around these people are fantastic. I would seriously consider applying through someone else. They have NO TIME for low wage employees.
