Very disappointing experience with Pipe Works Services. I contacted them expecting the problem to be properly diagnosed and fixed, but instead I ended up paying a significant amount for work that did not actually resolve the issue.

What concerns me most is that this was not simply a matter of the service being expensive. The problem came back, and when I contacted them about it, I was faced with additional costs rather than a straightforward resolution. I expected the original service to actually solve the problem or for the company to stand behind the work.

After looking into other customer experiences, I found complaints describing very similar concerns — including customers reporting that drain problems returned shortly after service, disputes over whether the work was covered by warranty, and complaints about unexpectedly high charges compared with the initial expectations or quotes.

I also found an Angi complaint from May 2026 describing a customer who paid $598.08 for drain work, had the drain back up again within 24 hours, and said another plumber subsequently found that the blockage had not been fully cleared. The customer also reported being offered a refund conditional on removing the review, although Pipe Works disputed parts of that account. That is an allegation from another customer, not something I can independently establish, but the similarity to my own experience is concerning.

Trustpilot currently shows a strong overall rating, but it also contains documented 1-star complaints, including reports of a new system failing after only a few months, a company allegedly not standing behind work, and a drain issue where the customer said the problem was not resolved.

My own experience is enough for me to say that I would be very cautious before hiring this company. I recommend getting the complete price, warranty coverage, and exactly what is included in the service in writing before authorizing any work. I would also consider getting a second opinion if the proposed repair is expensive.

This review reflects my personal experience. I am not claiming that every customer will have the same experience, but based on what happened to me and the similar complaints I found, I would not use them again.

Some of your staff members are excellent (competent), e.g., Phil (electrician) and Wil (plumber) but not everyone impressed me in terms of their tasks.
We kept some if your engineers/technician and I hope your receptionists will send us by our request. Barbara was also a good receptionist.

Technician was professional and got the work done in a timely manner

This is the first time I used Pipeworks and my experience was great. All interactions were very professional and they were able to identify and fix our issue. Our technician, Mike, was a wonderful representative of the company!

The pipeworks team was able to come to my AC and fix the problem the same day which I appreciated because of the very hot weather we were experiencing
