Very disappointing experience with PhoneMarket.nl.

I bought an Oral-B toothbrush through bol.com. After only a 3 uses, the screen stopped working. I returned it, expecting a reasonable solution for what seemed to be a defective product almost immediately after purchase.

Instead, the conversation kept going in circles. PhoneMarket.nl focused mainly on the missing original box and the fact that it is a hygiene product, rather than properly addressing that the toothbrush stopped working after only a few uses.

I understand that policies exist, and I understand that repairs can sometimes be appropriate. But when a brand-new product fails almost immediately, I expect a seller to take responsibility and handle the situation with common sense in this case giving me my money back as I had to buy a brand new toothbrush when this one was not working.

Their replies felt repetitive and impersonal, and I did not feel listened to as a customer.

Based on this experience, I would not buy from PhoneMarket.nl again.

This response is exactly the issue I experienced throughout the process. I was not returning an unused product under the right of withdrawal. I returned a toothbrush that stopped working after only three uses.

The fact that it is a hygiene product and that the original box was missing does not change the core issue: the product appeared to be defective almost immediately after purchase.

Even with the original box, the toothbrush could not have been resold as new, because it was already used and faulty. That is why I found the repeated focus on the box unreasonable.

I understand that repair can sometimes be part of a warranty process. But in this situation, where a brand-new toothbrush failed almost immediately and I had to buy another one, I expected a more practical and customer-focused solution.

My review is not about wanting special treatment. It is about the lack of responsibility and common sense in handling a defect.

I contacted the company immediately, sent photos, proof, and followed all the requested instructions, including weighing the package as asked. Even so, after a supposed "internal investigation," they simply claimed that the order was delivered correctly and refused to resolve the problem.

The support is extremely frustrating, slow, and ultimately assumes no responsibility. I was left with the loss, without the product and without a refund.

If you are thinking of buying from this company, I strongly recommend reconsidering. My experience was one of total disregard for the customer and a lack of solution to a serious problem.

We bought two phones. Instead of the actual product, we received rocks. At first, they kept in touch. Now they've stopped responding completely.
There are many signs that you're a scammer! Google Maps has reviews with photos; we're not the only ones experiencing this!
You don't even know how to justify it, so you come up with a completely different payment method! You're sending people empty packages! I've found five cases with the same problem.
