The ferry, Stena Embla, was modern, comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were lucky to be on a very quiet midweek crossing. There was very little to do on board but we read a newspaper and I crocheted. Rogue children ran riot despite an announcement to keep kids supervised. They were very noisy but probably just bored as it is a long crossing. A better selection of magazines, papers and even books would have been appreciated. Maybe kids could have more to do than just a movie and video games too? We appreciated the half price tea and coffee after the first purchase.
Great passage, reasonably priced snacks and drinks, clean and trouble free
Seating near the front nice, charging phone available. Internet available @2pound and staff always great to help safe travel 👍
Very disappointed that there was no food served in the Premium Lounge after 10.45 on the sailing that left Dublin at 10.15. This means that you have another 3 hours left in the journey.
Return journey no vouchers in the cabin. No kettle or biscuits but the barman in the lounge was very helpful and we got two complimentary coffees.
The ship was spotless and the staff were friendly. The boat docked on time but as usual the foot passengers were held back for 15 to 20 minutes before being crammed on to a bus for delivery to the terminal building.
The ship is comfortable. Duty free is ok for somethings like alcoholand cigarettes but other things like sweetsare very over price. your food and drink are very over price and not enough people serving.
After the booking process, every thing was just a process. It would be helpful if you sent as a matter of course a itinerary of the booking, as we have to make a note of it anyway & it could be sent to the means of booking. There are ways of recording the booking, however, it would make it simpler.
I was overcharged for breakfast with I paid for in advance and eventually received a cash refund. Breakfast was dreadful with the poorest quality sausage I have ever eaten and dry bacon.
Great staff, the food in the restaurant is nice and good value for money. Time keeping is also great, no delays. Overall, we enjoyed our journey and we will definitely use Stena Line again.

I haven’t travelled by ferry for years, but I was so impressed with Santa, the welcome from The gate onwards and all the staff throughout the ship, they are a well oil machine, great customer service, smooth trip over very attractive scenery. I use the scanner plus lounge and we found it to be very comfortable. The spa looks very good, I didn’t get to use it but another time. Well done and thank you.
