SSUSA guided us through the entire process of getting our son Pierce set up with a soccer scholarship at Sul Ross State University. Lyle, Alex, and the entire team were responsive, knowledgeable, and made a complicated process feel manageable every step of the way. We’re so grateful for their support and would recommend them to any family navigating the student-athlete pathway to the USA.

Our son is off to a US university this summer on an Academic scholarship, as a Student Athlete on the Soccer team, and without SS USA that would not have been possible. Lyle and Alex provided great support and guidance throughout the process, and always answered any questions we had very quickly (as part of the process a What’s App group was set up with both of us, our son, and Lyle and Alex on it, so asking for help/guidance was very easy as questions arose throughout the process).

The academic side was important to us all, and through the contacts that SS USA have, a number of universities showed an interest in our son. We/our son had conversations directly with the soccer coaches (and parents of international students already at the universities) which helped to select the right university for our son’s needs, and we feel confident that we have found the right ‘fit’ for our son’s academic and athletic goals. We are delighted that our son now has the opportunity to play soccer whilst studying in the US and this wouldn’t have happened without the expertise, and ongoing assistance, of SS USA. We would recommend them to others looking to combine study and sport in the US.

As part of the process they introduced us to a number of coaches in the US who we spoke to and my daughter was delighted to get an offer at a D1 NCAA college that has fantastic coaches, players & facilities.

SSUSA have been excellent throughout Ella's journey to getting to the USA. ELLA First met Alex as her goalkeeper coach in DBS in transition year. Alex, Lyle & all the team have been of great support to us all as a family. Any questions or concerns were always dealt with promptly. They are very professional. Very professional and well run event. Both Alex and Lyle insured there were 3 match officials and a physio present and even had complementary pizza fo us afterwards.

I really enjoyed my time at the showcase. Although I didn’t know anyone going I felt welcome from the first minute and thought the Alex and Lyle helped everyone settle in. I felt the match itself was a good standard and the lads were all top.
