I have to leave a poor review due to…
I have to leave a poor review due to the frustrating experience we had. Admittedly the main problem was with the courier (FedEx) in Melbourne but they shouldn't be using a company with a dreadful history of poor customer service.
The case was held up at the airport for 5 days, the reason given was incorrect address, (it was correct) also no instruction of how to use the buzzer (the instruction was 'press the buzzer'). Send my bag were quick to respond to messages but do employ 'gaslighting' to deflect responsibility. Annoyingly conversations disappear when checking details.
Reception at the apartment said they'd never refuse delivery & had no knowledge of any attempted delivery, (that was another excuse). The reviews for FedEx Melbourne give similar stories. Delivery windows of 9 hours is poor especially after failed and cancelled deliveries

Send My Bag's support team were incredible. The process from start to finish once the bags were collected was seamless. As an expat moving from the U.S. to Spain with my non-lucrative visa, I was able to (using Send My Bag's process and guidance) get all of my personal belongings for myself and three other family members within 10 days, delivered to my living space!

The local agent sent me an invoice they produced themselves and claimed they paid duties on my suitcase. They never sent an original duties receipt. They also added more charges and described it as an admin fee. This is a rip off. There's no way I can ascertain they paid any duties. Also what admin fees are they talking about. Their admi is part of my payment. I will never use your service again. Ever!
