Schuette Reviews 

I ordered Plissees. The site specifically said it will be delivered by July 10, which was perfect as we are about to leave on vacation on the 13th. However, weeks passed by and there were no shipment updates. I wrote to customer service, and the answer was it will be shipped in ANOTHER two weeks. I said this won't fit my schedule and requested a cancellation and a refund (it was an order over 300 euros). I heard nothing from the customer service. They just ignored my message.

I have ordered from Schuette before when I lived in Germany and it was all great. Now that I moved to Denmark, I wanted to order from them again. I had contacted the customer service chat, which was slow and I received responses at strange times.
I ordered curtains and thought of ordering more if it fits nicely in the apartment. I was supposed to receive the curtains on the 8th of July. Today, on the 9th of July, the curtains haven't even been shipped out yet. I requested a cancellation.

I recently purchased three no-drill pleated blinds with adhesive mounting strips from Schuette. After about three weeks, the blinds were delivered.

My first impression was very positive. The installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. I attached the adhesive strips and waited 24 hours, as instructed, before hanging the blinds.

Unfortunately, problems started almost immediately. Two of the three blinds were fine, but the cords on the third blind were completely tangled, making it impossible to install. After contacting customer service, who responded quickly, I sent the blind back for repair. About two weeks later, I received it back, but the cords were still tangled. Fortunately, I was able to fix the issue myself.

The biggest disappointment, however, was the quality of the adhesive strips. One by one, they came loose from the window frame, causing the blinds to fall down. The blinds were installed on wooden window frames, so this should not have been an issue. In the end, I had to replace all of the adhesive strips myself with higher-quality alternatives.

It is disappointing to sell pleated blinds with adhesive mounting strips when the strips do not perform as intended. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing this product.

I ordered a Plissè blind, but it wasn't suitable for my windows. I contacted customer support, and they admitted it was their mistake: the blinds simply aren't compatible with my windows. However, they refused to accept the return, so I didn't get my money back (150 euros). Customer support has stopped responding to me.

The website states that they are compatible with wooden windows.
However, support admitted to me that they are not compatible.
What is stated on the site is not 100% reliable.

I ordered the Montage: Suprafix Fixation sans perçage « À Coller », and it does not work. I had to ask for extra adhesive pieces to be sent because 2 of the first batch didn't hold. They sent new ones (customer service is good), but the adhesive quality does not work. The 2nd batch that came worked for two days, then stopped, so my husband had to use screws and make holes in our window frame. Customer service is good, but one rep wanted to blame it on my window and handle, which I kindly let her know the point of the specific blinds I ordered was to go above the handles, as I didn't want to close out the whole window, only a portion away from the protruding handles. She made me feel like I didn't know what I was doing. But at this point, a rep before her had already sent out the pieces. The blinds are good quality - it's just the adhesive does not work.

Top Laden, Top Ware

I ordered a Plissee and it was not suitable for my windows. I contacted support and they agreed that it was their mistake - they just do not work with my windows. However, they did not take back the Pliessees - so I did not get back my money (300 Euro). They have severe technical problems, they do not solve them. Support does not answer me anymore.

I am super happy with the products and how easy they are to install!

The blinders I got became not foldable in a couple of days. I have been doing my best to communicate however no reply recently. They state that they are not cheap Chinese product and it is made in Germany (everything comes and is communicated from Poland in fact). Therefore, they charged me 300 Euros!

Here you can find their initial answer to the situation:
"Due to the thermal coating on the outside and constant exposure to sunlight, the coating may deform or harden and no longer fold into the pleated shape. Because of this, the pleated blinds should be opened and closed from time to time.
Please try to have it almost fully closed in its original pleated form for some days, so that due to the sun rays it might get its shape back."

Imagine that they produce a product for sunlight and I live in Luxembourg which is not well known for its sunny summers like Greece! I wish there was an option to upload pictures to prove you!

I just had to write a review. It's the least I could do, for such an amazing quality of product and service. 1st of all, the blinds are amazing, and they look and feel so much better than cheaper ones we tried before. 2nd of all, I accidentally broke one clamp and asked to purchase a replacement, they sent me a replacement immidietly free of charge. This does not happen often these days. Highly recommend!

I don't usually write reviews, but have been repeatedly so impressed with the service and product quality of Schuette, that I felt I had to. Firstly, the blinds are extremely good value for money. They are custom cut to customer requirements, are easy to install, well-made, and easy to operate. Secondly, since I bought the blinds, one of the three was hanging to one side. Schuette immediately offered to take the blind back and repair it. It was sent from Austria to Poland, repaired, and cut to a new width then back again in 10 days, amazing! They also re-cut two of my blinds to a new width after I decided I wanted a different fitting, and free of charge!
You don't often come across such honest, well-run family businesses in the internet age - that's why I felt I had to leave a review - very happy!
