I'm an idiot - after a recent experience I decided never to use CROP again. But I needed a specific paint and they were the only source. So I paid the (nearly) £18 for the paint, and also the £13.94 for it to be delivered. Soon after placing the order (on Tues 14 July) I received confirmation that it had been despatched. Good, but for that price, so it should be. Then UPS got in touch - deliver by Friday. Three days - that's pushing it, especially for the exorbitant charge for carriage. But by late Friday afternoon, no delivery, just another e-mail from UPS telling me: 'We've incorrectly sorted this package which may cause a delay.' and 'we are actively working to get you a new delivery date'. So definitely not Friday. Not over the weekend either - unlike Amazon and others they don't deliver then. Or not to me, anyway. Monday? Maybe. And then it will be NEARLY A WEEK SINCE THE ORDER. I knew I shouldn't have used CROP again. Expensive, (carriage costs not disclosed until order sorted) and unacceptably slow. I feared it was a mistake, but I needed that paint..... Still do.....
Post reply: I hope that the paint does meet expectations, I'll know once it's arrived and I've used it. I decided that in its spec, hope that was a good decision. This review isn't about CROP's products - quality or otherwise. No issues there, experience so far has been good.
But - their carriage charges. And actual delivery - or non or slow delivery as here.
CROP gives reason for the very high charges and tries to explain the length of time taken for delivery. I get plenty from Europe and US (and Asia). Costs of delivery are always below what CROP charge and delivery times (from other continents) are better, and communication is honest and open. The promised 'three days' for UPS to deliver from Holland was long but acceptable. When will the delivery eventually be made? Monday - that would be six days. Later, a week or more. UNACCEPTABLE. Especially at the extortionate rate charged. There should be a refund but that's not how CROP work. They obviously look to maximise margins at the expense of the fodder (sorry, customer).
p.s. Name is Neil......
Update 2:
GOOD NEWS - The paint arrived on Monday, six days after the order and three after the original promised delivery date.
NOT-SO GOOD NEWS - Damaged - Cap smashed. Well packaged so it must have been packed and sent in this state. Not a UPS issue, rather a CROP issue.
This makes it difficult to use as it's a 2-pak paint and the cap is part of the mixing process. Having to guess and manage the 'mix' in a different way. But this is CROP, unfortunately......
Send back for exchange? Should do but probably get into long 'discussion' and inevitably a long send back / return process which could take a couple of weeks or more, and cost probably more than the paint itself, on top of the original extortionate cost.

Misleading shipping prices.
£14 postage fine bit high then you know why when you get the invoice and it says the Netherlands ok well that wasn't stated on the website.
They a few weeks later I get a letter from ups asking for more money that wasn't stated at the shipping page.
Shocking company and im not the only one looking at these reviews.
And after reading the letter properly the fee is am now having to pay is for a weight adjustment seriously so you pay delivery but because of their pure incompetence I now have to pay more absolute joke.

Aside from the products, which are of undoubted quality, because they are available from professional retailers (body shops, etc.), in recent days I have had to deal with customer service (Italy section) for technical information, both on WhatsApp and in the website chat, and I must say that the experience has been truly excellent.

Website shows incorrect information, which leads to me ordering an item when this was already included with another product.
Unfortunately, despite their mistake resulting in me needing to return an item, CORP is not willing to pay for return shipping.
Update: after posting this review I was contacted by CROP's customer service and they paid for return shipping. They apparently have an AI write the replies for their customer service email; only once I left a review did I get to speak with a human.

I bought 12 Colad respirators with activated charcoal and exhaust valve, I planned to use it because I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivity and suffer when people wear fragranced anything including fragranced laundry products. Product was shipped promptly and communication was good. I haven't tried any of the masks yet because the rubber band holding it against the face is too short, not adjustable and cutting into my face. So now I need to figure out an alternative way of wearing it. Great if ot came with adjustable ties. But I guess this is not the fault of Crop, but of the manufacturer.

I’m leaving this review on Trustpilot because the experience I’ve had with Crop-no paints has been extremely poor and needs to be highlighted.
I purchased a steering lock from your website, and at no stage during the sales process did the product description state that it was designed for a left‑hand‑drive vehicle. Under UK consumer law, any key product characteristic that would materially influence a customer’s decision must be clearly disclosed before purchase. Had this been stated, I would never have bought the item.
After raising this issue, I’ve had multiple email exchanges with your customer service representative, Unfortunately, his responses have been unhelpful and incorrect. He repeatedly insists that the lock “will work on any car”, which completely ignores the core issue: the product was mis‑described, and essential information was omitted. This is not compliant with UK consumer protection requirements.
The law is clear: consumers must be provided with accurate, complete information before completing a purchase. Failing to disclose that the product is intended for left‑hand‑drive vehicles is a breach of these obligations, and refusing to pay for this item to be sent back in these circumstances is not lawful.
Given the lack of resolution and the refusal to acknowledge the legal position, I have now reported this matter to UK Trading Standards for review.
I cannot believe how poor the customer experience is here.
EDIT - response in relation to their comment for everyone purchasing items from this company to review how they follow consumer rights … be warned
To clarify, at no point have I ever refused or disputed import charges. I accepted them at checkout and paid them in full. Repeating this point does not address the problem with the product itself.
The core issue is that the item supplied is not as described, and under UK consumer law a photograph alone is not considered adequate disclosure when the functionality of a product differs in a material way. A picture does not override statutory rights, nor does it remove your responsibility to ensure that goods are suitable for the market you choose to sell into.
You choose to operate in the UK, but you do not choose to follow the consumer protection laws that apply here. UK law requires that goods must be:
as described
fit for purpose
of satisfactory quality
A steering lock that must be turned around and used in a way not shown, not described, and not intended in its original design is not “as described” and is not “fit for purpose” for a right‑hand‑drive vehicle. The fact that some customers may tolerate this workaround does not remove your legal obligations.
Your reply repeatedly avoids the actual legal standard: the product must meet the reasonable expectations of a UK consumer purchasing a steering lock for a right‑hand‑drive car. Whether a workaround is technically possible is irrelevant under consumer law.
I have been clear, consistent, and factual throughout. You have chosen not to acknowledge the consumer rights involved, which is why the matter is being taken further.
I would also warn anyone reading this and considering purchasing from this company to be aware that, in my experience, they do not follow UK consumer law and do not accept responsibility when a product is not as described.

Very good price, super fast shipment to Poland.
I read some comments People from UK but folks if you live and buy in EU its easy

Everything was great. I like their high selection of products, as well as the fact that they ship throughout Europe. Not to mention the very gas shipping time.

Absolute sham. This place comes up in searches on google for various automotive products. All prices are in pounds by default and are slightly more favourable than others, so seem attractive. Their website looks like any other generic online store but, they are NOT UK based. No clear indication this is the case. I’m gonna be forced to pay £81 import taxes to UPS for 4 gallons of oil!!! WTF!! Company needs investigating for deceitful trading practices.

Ordered a disc lock from this company paid a delivery fee then get a message from ups asking for another £43. I feel like I have been conned. I will never use this company again and wouldn’t recommend it to anybody.

Quality products and extremely attentive customer service.
Shipping options are limited and even their house brands are a bit more expensive than competitors but it is worth it to be able to purchase everything required from the same place.

Be aware if you live outside the EU. CROP do not identify the costs you are required to pay to get your order over the border : nor do they make it clear when you purchase your item that you .... not them .... have to liaise with the courier (UPS) to pay the import tax.

AVOID IF UK. Ordered a paint gun which was subject to hefty custom tax - always look out for the very small lettered warning...after you've purchased. Asked to return it, was met with a very patronising and aggressive response from Monika at customer services. Two months on they continue to essentially lie to me saying they are investigating and in contact with UPS. However multiple contacts with UPS have revealed they've not even bothered to contact them. It literally takes me 10 mins to get to the point with UPS that they could return it, but can't because I'm not the sender. Yet Monika has taken two months to get nowhere. It's hundreds of pounds that they are essentially withholding on purpose just because I chose to send it back which is my right as consumer. Disgraceful conduct.
To start the paint tin arrived in an extremely damaged condition. On contacting their customer service team they have said that the tin is suitable to use and that this happens when using UPS in Spain. If I could show photos, you would see that the tin is so misshapen that it won't fit on a surface and the lid would not be able to be replaced once opened. The customer service team are rude and unhelpful saying that we must return the tin ourselves. Plus, If it is to arrive in a worse condition, we would be liable. Absolutely shocking service. I would not recommend this company at all. I worked for a paint manufacturer in the UK, in Farrow & Ball Complaints team for years and we would never have treated a customer is such a way. I am now trying to find a way to contact their Senior Management Team. (This is just a short synopsis much more has happened).
They'll be happy claim the damages from UPS but won't give us a replacement.
