I've just placed my 5th order with Mixam today, ordering my zines in various print runs each time. Before finding Mixam, I tested several competitors and was consistently disappointed with the print results – Mixam has been noticeably better every single time.

My specs have stayed the same across orders: A5 (148mm x 210mm) portrait format, perfect-bound interior with full-colour printing, 184 pages on 135gsm matte paper with a 12mm spine, and a full-colour cover (front and back) with matte lamination on 250gsm stock.

I've uploaded files both through their online editor and as print-ready PDFs exported from InDesign, and both methods worked flawlessly.

What really sets Mixam apart is their customer service – fast, attentive, and proactive. They even caught and flagged an error on my file before I noticed it myself. A special mention to Kai, who was extremely helpful. Service is 5 stars all the way.

I'll definitely be ordering here again.

Amazing customer service. Easy to reach by phone, was able to clarify open questions before ordering and I finally placed my order for two photobooks after customer service gave me a quick confirmation that the uploaded PDF looked good and the resulting print would be a success. And it was! We love the final result.
We were a bit worried the books wouldn't arrive in time (the books were a wedding present) because DHL was pretty unreliable with tracking and the order arrived two days later than expected, although I went for the express option. In the end, though, we are happy we went with this provider compared to the other "big known" providers out there and I'll be using them again in the future!

After placing my order well in advance on July 20th (for an important event on August 8th) with an estimated delivery date of July 30th, I followed up on August 2nd to ask about the status of my shipment.

I was then told: 'Your print got damaged at the perfect binder and needs to be reprinted.' When I asked if it would still arrive in time, customer support suggested I pay an extra ~€20 for express shipping to ensure timely delivery. When I inquired whether this fee would be reimbursed, since it wasn't my fault that their production team damaged the item and had to reprint i, they told me, they won't, Such things can happen.

Thank god the print finally arrived on time, but one item is printed completely crooked, clearly visible to the naked eye.

One positive: the costumer service is fast and always replies.

Mixam is an amazing global company. Kai in their customer service, went above and beyond. The book was for a speaking and book launch tour and needed to be delivered to a conference center hotel to be there in time for the launch. All arrived ahead of schedule with confirmation, and the unboxing of the book was overwhealming they turned out beautiful with such a quality that exceeded my expectations.

Was very disappointed with the outcome of my prints. Worked on a zine and wanted to get it printed. Unfortunately, there was a huge delay and I tried my best going back-and-forth to correct the file that needed to be printed. However, after all the time and effort spent. I was so deeply disappointed by the print when it arrived without ANY changes that were made. After all THE EFFORT. The original print was shipped to me. Definitely going to look for an alternative service. Not helpful at all…

I just printed a notebook with them and when I had some issues with getting the file for the spine correct they where superhelpful and patient with me to solve it! They answer the phone without any long waiting line, they give me the person that I am asking for. They go over and beyond to help getting the stuff ready for printing. Personal treatment that is rare in todays automated world!

These flyers did not arrive, and the delivery tracking number did not work. Our business will not have flyers for an expensive show that we are going to. I will never use Mixam again.

The softcover books have a very good quality and I am super happy with the result.

I made a book with paintings from a friend of mine. 268 pages. The quality of the prints and the quality of the book is very good. The price for it also really good. They buy paper in big amounts and so make lower prices possible if you are flexible with the configuration. A clever concept. I needed support and got somebody on the phone right away who helped me. One of the best online book printers I know.

I printed my art book with about 100 copies at Mixam and I am very happy with the overall result. The team is super friendly and responsive and the quality of the print is very good.

As an inexperienced printer myself, I received very fast assistance to correct my draft brochure and also to help optimise the cost of printing. Highly recommend using Mixam - the service could not have been better. The printing result is also spot on!

I had zines printed at Mixan on uncoated paper. The print result is terrible. The pages were printed very pale, with machine marks. Sometimes there are black color spots on the pages. The result looks to me as if the printer is printing with too little ink and needs to be cleaned. I had checked my PDF file with images against proof files. A copy store delivers much better results.

I received plenty of help from start to finish! My representative print specialist, Carine Eniang, was always there to answer my questions. Prints arrived earlier than predicted, and the quality was AMAZING! I couldn't be happier with my entire experience.
