My experience with International House Dublin was extremely disappointing because of the way my Cambridge exam was handled.
Since April, I had been requesting to change my exam date and my emails were repeatedly ignored.
I only received responses after going to the school in person or copying the director into my emails.
Even after providing all the documents requested, I still received no proper confirmation.
Just days before the exam, I was informed that it was still booked for the wrong date. After insisting once again, the school finally confirmed the change. However, shortly before the exam, l received an email from Cambridge stating that I had been registered for the B1 exam, even though I had spent six months studying and preparing for the B2 exam.
I ended up taking the B1 exam because I needed it to renew my visa and had no other option. To this day, International House Dublin has not responded to my emails, explained what happened, or even apologised. What disappointed me most was not only the mistake itself, but the complete lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism throughout the entire process.
The teachers are excellent, but the administrative management was extremely disorganised and negligent. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all confidence in the school, and I cannot recommend it.

Our experience with International House Dublin has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We had three groups of students aged 12 to 15 who attended their program, and despite assurances that accommodations would be well-organized and appropriate, we encountered serious issues that severely impacted our students’ welfare.

Several students were placed more than an hour away from the school, despite prior promises of more convenient housing. This caused unnecessary stress and fatigue for young students who should not have been subjected to such long commutes. To make matters worse, some of these host families were not Garda-vetted, lacked experience in hosting minors, and clearly had no training in dealing with young international students.

The treatment of our students was unacceptable. Reports from several students indicated they were served subpar food, with some meals being spoiled or inedible. The lack of care and oversight was evident, and our attempts to address these issues were met with indifference. International House Dublin failed to acknowledge or accept liability for these serious concerns, showing a complete disregard for student safety and well-being.

It was clear that their priority was profit, not the care of the students entrusted to them. If you are considering booking groups with International House Dublin, we strongly urge caution. The lack of professionalism, failure to deliver on promises, and inadequate safeguarding measures made this a regrettable and frustrating experience for our organization. For anyone seeking a reliable, student-focused experience, this is not the place to entrust your groups.
