Horrible company - deceptive practices

Horrible company. Signed up for service not knowing it would automatically renew. Used the service maybe 2 days. A year later with no warning, they messaged me saying my service had renewed. I immediately cancelled and they closed my account. But they billed me anyway and expect me to pay for a year of service I won't use. I hadn't used it in almost a year before this. Now I find they sent my bill to collections. They are fraudulent, beware.

Non-existent customer service/Lack of response

Non-existent customer service. Terrible experience with billing. Lack of response.

I have been a customer for over 20 years and technical service is OK but pray for not needing to contact customer service or if you get a billing error you'll be out of luck.

Chatted with customer service that asked me to send an email to an address. Did so and received an automatic message saying that someone will contact me. That was five days ago and nothing. Emailed again and nothing.

This is a predatory company that does…

This is a predatory company that does not allow you to cancel your hosting contract. They artificially inflate their reviews by asking you to rate them after every customer service interaction. After I canceled my account 30 days before renewal, they are trying to turn my account over to collections. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

They provided clear precise instructions on how to identify and resolve the issue.

Their chat support ai clients helps some of the time but know there are humans available really make their customer support excellent

Joshua Sanchez was amazing and listening to our issues and fixed them promptly. We had a very old website and she helped renew it. We have been customers for over 20 years and have never had any issues. IONOS has been very reliable. Thank you very much for your support.
