My experience with Jay the school Admission director was good and the school is a nice school.

The support

I had a coaching session with Alisha, she understood my concerns, addressed them and found solutions to help resolve my situation. I would do all my coaching session with her if I could. She was nice, welcoming, and ready to help. My main concerns were doing clinicals for the program that would be beneficial to my situation and Alisha reassured me that it would be possible to adjust.

However, I do suggest to providing more resources/locations to students for clinicals. I reside in Houston, Texas and it’s only one location in Houston Texas that HTA partner with but it’s not for Sterile processing. Otherwise I’d have to travel a great distance to the locations. Not ideal!

When I enrolled it was easy. When I email the staff they got right back to me. The staff is nice.

My experience with Ms.Alisha was straight to the point a nd an overall great experience. She was very informative and answered all the questions I had. Her energy was very positive, and I enjoyed our coaching session.

Sid was wonderful explaining the program letting me do my research and checking with my state to make sure they take the certification.

Not only was I not told the full information when I got signed up, I was told that there was job placement. Don't believe this. Then, she said, I had to look up for my own place to work, which is against hippa policy, for me, to work anywhere in a medical setting that I'm not employed by with patients. Information so do not believe them when they say they have job placement. And tell me to look for my own because I didn't have an experience in that field that I graduated from, which means clinicals. But yet they're telling me, I don't have to do clinicals. So all the money I've paid them is for nothing. I could have went on somewhere and did my own tests. And paid thousands of dollars less, if i'm going to have to do my own job, to find a job that pays just about what I was making. When I quit. I got no help. I got run around. I got their a I always messing up on you, writing your stories for the school, this was not a good experience for me

I had a great experience with the Surgical Tech program. Everyone was very helpful throughout the process and always available for questions. Coach Robin and career services Alisha played a huge role in helping me along the way and helping me to the finish line.

Is soo sad when you call for help after finishing your course no one ever picks calls,i took 1 month off from work to concentrate and finish up my program,after that no one picks up no externship found its 3 months since i finished my course yet they're soo nice calling you every day to enroll and after that they take money from you but No help,i can email and call until i gave up, Anthony was soo helpful in the process but now he never picks up. What a time to waste until i wonder if its a real school or scam,soo dissapointed and lost!

My career advisor Ms. Malika Haider has been helping me find internships and this process has been super long and frustrating, but she has been super supportive and helpful and whenever I have a question, shes always get back to me in a timely manner with the support and encouragement that I need. Shes really nice and just great all around.
My Student Career Coach, Ms. LaKeisha Palmer is the best as well! She recently wrote me a letter of recommendation for a scholarship I applied to and I was so appreciative of her uplifting words. Shes super nice and very detailed during our coaching sessions. She has a plan for success for each of her students and I believe she is a huge asset to Health Tech Academy. Im very grateful for both Ms. Haider and Ms. Palmer, without them I dont think i would’ve continued with my schooling process. They have truly made this an ease for me. Im recommending all my friends if they want to get back in school or join the healthcare industry to apply to Health Tech Academy. :)

There was just a small amount of difficulty with communication, getting the initial phone call for more information. But I eventually was able to get through on my end when I called. Everything else went pretty smoothly. And I was able to get the information I needed. Things were explained well. I am looking forward to starting.

Austin was really supportive and very knowledgeable in getting the process started and really helped in the application process.

I really enjoyed this training course and Malika helped me out so much towards the end of my training course, i am so thankful.

I love their online pace program, the courses are well explained in detail, and I also have the best coach (Ms.LaKeisha Palmer) She makes sure I get everything covered and coaches me most on my difficulties.She is also love and kind and if they ask me to rate her 1 out of 10 I would give her 10.Thank you Ms.LaKeisha Palmer and thank you Healthtech academy

I had worked with Malika as my clinical coordinator and my experience was amazing. Not only did the school answer back in a timely manner and multiple times but Malika.worked with the hospital I already work at and built a clinical contract with them to make everything as easy as possible for me. Thank you so much for everything.
