Our Expobar workhorse coffee machine, which produced (counted by the clock of our old grinder) in excess of 20,000 delicious coffees in the last 10 years since we bought it in Spain, has finally given up the spirit.

After some search for a worthy replacement, we purchased online from Home Coffee Machines Ltd (in Ireland) the Profitec Pro 600 coffee machine and Profited Twist SD54 grinder from Home Coffee Machines and had both delivered to our home in the Wirral, in England. This vendor offered the machine at the lowest price anywhere in Europe (we also found it at higher prices, in increasing order, in Germany, Greece and the UK). The Home Coffee Machines Ltd included transportation AND customs, an aspect which has given us nasty surprises on recent imports of consumer goods from Europe.

Besides the price, we were impressed by the service from the very moment we completed the purchase - well past 9pm UK time. After receiving the automated acknowledgment of receipt of our order, about an hour later the same night (!), we received an email from a person (confirmed, not a bot) informing us that "the model we ordered (and by that time had paid for) did not exist, would we accept a higher value model for the price we paid instead?", which we happily did.
On the next day we inquired about delivery and were told (by the same person) that our goods would arrive by a specialist transporter, because Home Coffee Machines Ltd does not trust the "usual" transportation companies to treat the machines carefully enough. Indeed, we received our machine a couple of days later and have been enjoying spectacularly good coffee since.

On all three counts, we were impressed by the value for money of the product, as well as the professionalism and speed of response of the company. It is very unlikely that we will be changing our new machine any time soon, but if we were to ever purchase a new one, no matter which country we live in (we move around in Europe) we would definitely return to this vendor.

UK buyers beware: Impossible return process & unexpected EU customs charges
Avoid ordering from Home Coffee Machines (homecoffeemachines.ie) if you are based in the UK.
They shipped an incorrect/incompatible part from Northern Ireland and collected payment in GBP (£).
However, when returning their wrong item, they demand you ship it back to their address in the Republic of Ireland.
Irish Customs then generated a €27 charge on a £66 item. It is impossible to pay this online from the UK (the payment portal strictly blocks non-Irish/UK-based IPs/cards and requires physical payment in Ireland) HCM refused to assist, refused to pay the customs charge on their end, and hid behind their standard refund policy, leaving the buyer completely stuck with an incorrect part and unable to return it.
Extremely poor customer service and a total nightmare for UK customers.

I needed a replacement water tank for my Sage Barista Express. It arrived incredibly quickly (despite being delivered to England when the store is in Ireland) and the customer service was friendly and helpful.

I discovered Home Coffee Machines via watching a YouTube video on how to fix our Sage coffee machine. The video made it look easy, and indeed it was. Part ordered from website and delivered very quickly. There was excellent follow up after the sale to check that everything went well.

After several years of daily use, my Lelit Bianca started leaking from the drip valve. I replaced the safety valve & the vacuum breaker, but was unable to find an OLAB expansion valve except at Home Coffee Machines. They shipped immediately & I was back to making great espresso!

Delighted with my Profitec Go from Home Coffee machines. Device came in no time, in perfect condition and has really elevated my espresso setup.
I'm hoping i won't need another machine for a long time, but would order from them again when the time comes.

5 Star service , got the new milk sensor quickly from them , replaced the part . Back drinking Coffee again , good video on their website to show how to replace the milk sensor , it seems like a bad machine design - Sage , that milk sensor can lock the machine down , once they is a issue with it .

The new Anti Vacuum Valve worked perfectly on my Lelit Bianca V3 and fully resolved the issue I had. The delivery to Switzerland was really fast, and Angel was a pleasure to chat with. Excellent experience overall!

Even though I am a relative novice, he gave me good and honest guidance on the machine and grinder that I should invest in. I now have the Lelit Bianca, and my family and I are having a brilliant time tweaking aspects of puc preparation and all the rest of it.
