Quality problems with two pairs, but a full refund was eventually provided
I ordered two pairs of shoes from Freyen: burgundy/oxblood Chelsea boots and light-coloured suede sneakers.
Unfortunately, both pairs had significant problems. The colour of the Chelsea boots differed noticeably from how it was presented on the website. More seriously, the heel structure of the suede sneakers collapsed inward with every step, making the shoe unstable and effectively unusable.
Receiving one problematic pair can be unfortunate luck, but finding a clear quality or presentation issue in both pairs raises concerns about Freyen’s quality control.
To Freyen’s credit, they ultimately provided a full refund after a few messages concerning the complaint. The matter was therefore resolved financially, although it required some follow-up and did not change the disappointing quality of the products received.
These were not simply shoes that I changed my mind about: one pair did not correspond properly to its online presentation, while the other had a functional construction defect. For an international online shoe retailer, reliable product descriptions and consistent quality are particularly important.
Based on my experience, I would not order from Freyen again.
