Misleading baggage information and unhelpful support
I booked a flight through Flightgift and had a terrible experience. When selecting my flight, the fare was shown as having “no baggage included,” which I reasonably understood to mean that no checked baggage was included in the fare.
What was NOT clearly disclosed was that the fare also did not allow a carry-on bag. That is a significant restriction, and something that should be clearly displayed before a customer pays, not something they discover afterward.
When I contacted customer support, they were completely unhelpful in resolving the issue. Even more frustrating, they did not seem to think anything was misleading about failing to clearly disclose the carry-on restriction during the booking process.
If a fare does not permit a carry-on, that needs to be stated clearly and prominently before purchase. Simply saying “no baggage included” is not an adequate substitute when customers need to know exactly what they are, and are not, paying for.
I would not book through Flightgift again. If you do, I strongly recommend double-checking the airline’s baggage restrictions yourself before paying, because the information shown during Flightgift’s booking process may not give you the full picture.

Terribe Customer Service Everything. Before retiring I was a Vp for a fortunes 200 Company and nevr would have tolerated this type of customer service. Start with Excellent Customer Service.
Everything, it took me 1.5 days for this transaction to go through without being declined, wait times were excessive, 35 minutes or more. CITI never gave an explanation as to what the probelm was, in spite of have both my cell and landline numbers they never called back when disconected, once they said hang on and they transfered me to American Airlines Trave Agency!!! That was after three CITI transfers. The company needs a Get Well Program. Very disappointed after being a VERY LONG TERM CUSTOMER!

The customer service is awful to the point where they send the confirmation numbers for the wrong airline and cannot pull up correct ones when asked. I spent over 2 hours trying to find the right information. Also, prices go up when booking flights. terrible overall experience

Avoid them at all costs. In my experience, they will try to rip you off in every possible way.
I bought a £500 gift voucher and paid for it in Bitcoin. The voucher clearly stated that it was valid for **two years**. However, when I tried to use it after around one and a half years, I discovered several issues.
First, the voucher could only be used on Flightgift’s own website, where the flight prices appeared significantly higher than on other booking platforms. You cannot use the voucher anywhere else, so you are effectively forced to book through their much more expensive platform.
Then, when I tried to use the voucher to book a flight for my holiday, it simply did not work and showed that the voucher had expired—even though it was supposed to be valid for two years.
Luckily, I had saved my invoices and other proof. I sent them multiple emails with all the evidence, but they told me to contact the platform through which I had made the payment. That platform then told me to contact Flightgift because, at the end of the day, it was Flightgift’s voucher.
Flightgift then refused to cooperate or take responsibility.
I will now start legal proceedings against them. My advice is simple: **avoid them and be extremely careful before buying one of their vouchers.**

Regarding the card being shown as expired, this is subject to the validity conditions attached to the specific card. As the purchase was made through a reseller, the relevant purchase and card details need to be reviewed against the terms applicable to that transaction.
Regarding pricing, Flightgift fares are based on the airline and supplier inventory available to us and may differ from prices offered through other booking channels. This does not mean that the Flightgift card itself has a different monetary value.
