Very disappointed by the company FINN the promise of FINN is too cover the hurdle in difficulties of car ownership yet it’s been a difficult journey so far. First, when we received, the car the car key did not work. We had to use the physical part and opened the car manually. We have been doing this since we’ve received the car. We accepted the car because we initially thought that changing the battery of the car key would solve the problem … it did not. The second issue with the car is when starting it, you can not set the automatic gear to drive mode. We have to turn off and on the car several times before eventually we can set the automatic gear to drive mode. We are having a hard time understanding why FINN charge you 1500 for car preparation cost. We reported those two issues using FINN platform in the next week after receiving the car, we did not heard any feedback from them during 15 days after reporting the issues. Finn promised to get your feedback by two or three business days we were very past that timeframe. We try to get support from FINN but their AI chatbot but terrible. It just ask you again and again the same questions about the issues you are facing, questions to wish the answer is in the case description with filled up and does not help you. We had to dig deeper to find a contact to call for support. It was not been FINN directly but rather their claim insurance partner they confirmed they would chase Finn to get us a feedback which we eventually got. Finn send us an email with the address of the car workshop to contact we had to call the workshop to figure it out a date that was suitable and we had to explain once again the issues that we were facing even though they were very well described in the FINN cases. This alone, defeats the while point of FINN promises, we felt like we were owning the car … in an ideal world we would get a Calendar with the available timeframes for the car workshop and we would select the timeslot for the repair. The car workshop would already have the cases descriptions that FINN has. This has been a disappointment so far we are not giving just one star because we do have the car and although they are issues we can drive it. We will certainly not get the car again from FINN based on this experience.

So far so good, quick and easy delivery of the car and completely hassle free hopefully this continues to be the case!

They just cancelled the contract with no reason 3 days before pickup. I needed to find an alternative within 3 days and I was able to do that with Miles. and fortunately for me it was cheaper too.

My first subscription contract with FINN back in 2023/2024 was absolutely amazing, and I was incredibly happy with the service. It really saddens me to write this now, but my recent experience has turned into an absolute nightmare and a financial trap.
When I returned the vehicle this time, the initial check went perfectly - everything was completely fine on the outside and inside. However, they later performed a "thorough inspection" behind closed doors and sent a report with a massive bill of 1123.63€ for a microscopic scratch that you can barely even see on the side panel (Seitenwand rechts). I immediately sent an email asking for a logical explanation. Their only response was that they had to repaint the entire area and that this was a "fair amount". In reality, a scratch of this minor size usually costs between 50€ and 250€ to fix via standard Smart Repair methods in Germany—not a predatory 1123€!
To make matters worse, FINN has absolutely no customer phone number to talk to a human being. Everything is locked behind slow, unhelpful automated emails. They ended up forcing and charging the full amount despite my clear objections. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. They lure you back with past good service but fleece you with exorbitant, unjustified fees the moment you hand the car back. Avoid them at all costs!

!Content: FINN delivered a car to my friend 15 days ago, but it is completely different from the one specified in our contract! They were incredibly quick to charge our money, but when it comes to resolving their own mistake, they completely ignore our complaints. It has been over two weeks with zero progress or customer support. Avoid this company – they are fast at taking your money but non-existent when you need actual support!

Beware of hidden charges at the end of your rental. This is how they get you. Minor scratches, billed as full panel resprays — €2,712 on an €18,000 car
I've now completed two subscriptions with Finn, and both ended the same way: with a handback invoice that bore no relation to the monthly price I signed up for.
The most recent car was an MG3. The final bill was €2,712.62. The itemisation reads: front bumper repaired and resprayed €1,075.30, rear bumper resprayed €869.80, front right wing resprayed €622.52, headliner smart repair €145.00.
The damage in question was minor cosmetic scratching. Not dents, not cracked panels, not structural damage — the kind of light marks a car picks up over a year of ordinary use in supermarket car parks and on narrow city streets.
Here is what I find hardest to accept. Finn used a smart repair on the headliner, at €145. So smart repair is plainly available within their process, and they know how to specify it. Yet for three exterior panels with light scratching they went straight to full respray, at four to seven times the cost. Nobody asked me. Nobody offered the cheaper method. The choice was made after the car was already back in their possession, and I was simply sent the total.
That is the structural problem with how this works. The assessment happens after you hand over the keys, by their assessor, against their standards, with you nowhere near the vehicle. You cannot obtain an independent second opinion on a car you no longer have. By the time the invoice arrives, the repair method has already been chosen and priced, and your realistic options are to pay or to spend substantial time and money contesting it.
For scale: a brand new MG3 costs around €18,000. This bill is roughly 15% of the entire value of the car, for cosmetic marks on the paintwork.
And this is not a one-off. My previous Finn car was a Fiat 500, and that subscription also ended with a outrageous damage charge for minor marks. Two cars, two handbacks, the same pattern both times.
The smaller fees follow the same logic. A minor speeding ticket comes with a processing fee on top of the actual fine — an administrative charge for forwarding a letter.
My objection is not that damage should be free. It's that the headline monthly price is not the price. A subscription is sold on predictability; that is the entire pitch, that is why people choose it over leasing. What you actually carry is an open-ended liability that only crystallises at the very end, at a figure someone else determines, using a repair method someone else selects, once you have no leverage left.
If you subscribe anyway: photograph and video every panel, wheel, bumper and interior surface at collection and again at handback, timestamped and in good light. Read the damage catalogue in full before signing and work out what light scratching actually costs. Ask in writing whether smart repair is applied before full respray. And budget for a bill at the end, because you will probably get one.
I won't be subscribing again, and I would advise others against doing so as well

Very easy and convenient car rental. Everything can be done online, which is great for non-locals. Good service and a comfortable experience!

If I had an option for zero or negative star, I would give that one.
It's a day light robbery. When I returned the car, they sent me a bill of 3492.71 for some scratches here and there. And they also demand money for damage which I never caused eg on the hood there was no damage when I handed over, want change rear bumper which had no damage. It's all fraud, they make the price very attractive at the beginning and after a year they want the car brand new back, that means that you never
drive the car return them brand new. Never ever rent a car from them, my sincere advice

I originally had a terrible experience with FINN due to severe logistical issues. My car delivery was delayed four separate times for the exact same "license plate issue," which caused my previous car subscription to end and left my family completely stranded without a vehicle. I actually had to rent a car out of pocket just to maintain basic mobility.
However, I am updating this review because their customer care team eventually stepped up to fix the situation. After I escalated the issue and pushed back, Oguzhan from their support team took ownership of the problem. They finalized a fair compensation package that completely covered my out-of-pocket rental expenses and the inconvenience.
The MG S6 was finally delivered yesterday. Despite the heavy rain, the delivery driver was incredibly friendly and professional, and the car itself is in perfect condition.
I am updating my rating because FINN ultimately took financial responsibility for their mistakes and made me whole. The support staff is helpful, but you should still be aware that their initial delivery estimates can be unreliable.

My delivery was delayed at first but then they reached out to me and arrange a quick delivery and made the car available to me on time. I really appreciate it.

My experience was very frustrating up front. I reserved a vehicle and waiting over 2.5 months for delivery after being advertised for a 2 week delivery. The delays were attributed to lack of a license plate/vehicle registration, every delay. At one point I was in contact with the customer service team and they confirmed the vehicle was registered with a license plate and then we received another 3 week delay for the same reason. There was clearly not enough information provided about the reason for the delay of the delivery.
I swapped vehicles after the final 3 week delay and delivery was smooth and quick from there. However, at no point in time was it recommended to me to swap vehicles and each delay in the initial reservation was very incremental 1-2 weeks at a time.
Overall I could not recommend trusting the advertised delivery dates on the website. Customer service has been friendly over the phone but it did not seem like all of the information was available.
