Enerfip took my money
Was confronted with Enerfip as it took over an investment platform in the Netherlands. All of a sudden interest payments were processed by Enerfip instead of being transferred directly by the company that issued the bond. I could only access my money once I had completed a registration process which took several weeks. On top of that, several webpages were not translated from French, which made it difficult to understand what is asked of me.

Transparent
Large choices of oppoprtunities but may lack transparency in addressing questions
I have been crowdfunding on Enerfip (and other platforms) for a few years, The projects are generally decently presented with available analysis.
However I have been particularly frustrated by their lack of response on specific questions raised on project opportunities (via email or the project investment page), despite several reminders. In my opinion, this lack of transparency significantly impacts the trust I had in them
Very mature crowd-investing platform
I only just started investing with Enerfip a few months ago after meeting them at ChangeNow conference in Paris, but I've been crowdinvesting with other platforms for 7+ years now, so I have a good basis for comparison.
Enerfip is probably the most mature platform I've encountered so far:
- Tons of projects to choose from at any time
- Very low default rate compared to others, if their published figures are correct
- The only platform I know that offers a degree of tax advice / support
- Generally good user interface
I can't really judge the longer-term performance yet, but will do so once I can.
Shady business with good, risky/unreliable investment opportunities
E-mails in French (?!).
Multiple "Create an Account" buttons on the homepage, 0 buttons to log in (?!).
Slow top-ups (topped up my account by Visa credit card, it took ~24 hours to show up in my account).
Otherwise good.
Good support and investment opportunities with good interest rates.
Update (02/25/2025): Deposited €1000 to invest in a project. They confirmed reception but I wasn't selected. Accessed my account, had €1000. Tried to withdraw, it failed and I was asked to contact them. I contacted them and asked them to withdraw to my bank account. They accepted and then claimed they couldn't because I had no funds. Accessed my account, had €0.
Update (03/03/2025): They "found" my money and blamed it on their payment processor Lemonway... Tried to withdraw, it failed and said I could not withdraw because my withdrawal limit had been reached despite this being my first withdrawal...
Update (03/26/2026): 1 of the 2 projects I invested in stopped paying investors as agreed.
Update (07/09/2026): The other project I invested in also stopped paying investors as agreed.
Happily trusting Enerfip for my impactful investments
Money and banquing are always stressful topics. Climate change too.
I don't remember how I discovered Enerfip but I find it amazing. It's clear, easy, and local !
I have supported several projects which all run well for the moment, which would show good auditing from Enerfip, although the risk is on me, always.
With Enerfip I have the feeling can can do something for the climate, while still making a worth investment.
Really cool contributing to clean energy production. Got two family members in already too.
