I wrote a review back in February 2026 explaining how Grubby had completely changed my relationship with food. A few months later, I wanted to come back with one simple update…

I wish I could give even more stars.

Everything I said then is still true - if anything, it’s become even more true with time.

The meals are still the most exciting, varied and genuinely delicious high-protein plant-based options I’ve found anywhere. The quality has never dropped, and I still look forward to choosing what I’m going to eat each week.

What has stood out even more, though, is your customer service. Every time I’ve had the smallest issue, or large issue that wasn’t grubbya fault at all, Lily has sorted it within 24 hours, always going above and beyond. That level of care is so rare these days, and it makes such a difference.

This isn’t just a meal service to me anymore. It genuinely changed my life. It helped rebuild my relationship with food, made cooking something I actually enjoy, and gave me confidence around eating again.

I’m forever grateful for what you’ve created and for the people behind it. Thank you for continuing to care so much - it’s noticed, it’s appreciated, and it’s the reason I’ll keep recommending you to everyone I know. ❤️

100/100!!!! All vegan - incredibly tasty - the easiest possible 'cooking' process on the ready meals. Totally changed my health and life. I eat the ready meals twice a day and am losing fat and gaining healthy muscle because some of the meals have a lot of protein. Cannot recommend enough.

We love Grubby and have a mountain of recipe cards now. New ones every month so you don’t have to repeat, but sometimes we do just because the recipes are so tasty! Very easy ordering and delivery too. Only one request -some plant based paneer recipes please 🙏🏼

Amazing choice, recipes and taste. Full of flavour and creates interesting meals with exactly the right ingredients when you don’t have the headspace to be creative after a long day at work. My daughter loves it too and we’ve decided it’s the best way to ensure she gets balanced meals whilst at uni from next year so plan to sign her up too. Thanks for the deliciousness and making it easy Grubby team.

Great plant based meal boxes. Lots of variety in meals to choose from each week. It's rare but when there isn't an item available they always try their best to provide a suitable alternative. When I had to use the customer service they were very friendly and sorted my issue with no problems. Very happy customer!

Love Grubby! Saves me a lot of time and energy, and every meal has been genuinely delicious. My only negative is we've had a couple of shipping issues - but nothing negative to say apart from that!

The meals are really good and easy to prepare. Even though we order the 2-person box, we always have leftovers, so that’s nice.

We have been very impressed with the meal kits including the range of recipes and ease of assembling. The customer service has been excellent on the very rare occasion we have run into an issue.

The meals are tasty and easy to make and will definitely increase your fibre and veg intake! I appreciate that a lot of them have a pretty decent protein content too. There are definitely options for those who don't like certain ingredients although if you're very fussy you might find it a bit repetitive. When I had an issue with a missing recipe I contacted customer service and received a swift response offering me credit against my next box. Delivery is always good although sometimes recently things have been slightly damaged in transit (one meal with a tomato puree explosion). I really appreciate the way it's packaged into paper bags so you can take the ingredients for each meal out and get to work. In future I'd love to see more recyclable packaging for some of the ingredients if possible!

The meals that I have received have all been tasty, easy to cook and quick as well and there is such a good variety. The communication with the company is excellent. Delivery is always timely and it is easy to manage times when you don't need a box.

Genuinely some of the most delicious meals we have EVER cooked and eaten. We look forward to our monthly batch of Grubby recipes so much!

We originally started using Grubby when we were plantbased, and to be honest we only tried it because it was the only vegan recipe business we knew about. But since returning to a vegetarian diet, we still continue to use Grubby because it’s by far the best recipe service we’ve used in terms of flavours, meal options and nutrition - and we’ve tried them all through the years.

The variety of dishes is brilliant, the serving sizes and protein content are great, and every meal we’ve cooked has ended up with us saying we’d love to make it again. We’ve made Grubby meals for many different people too, none of whom are even vegetarian let alone plantbased, and they’ve all sung the praises of the food too, with zero complaints about lack of meat that we often hear from people who do usually eat it.

On top of that, the customer service is excellent too. Quick responses, kind and accommodating, which is so important and feels very rare.

Would highly recommend to absolutely everyone I know!! We really do love Grubby!

Amazing, really tasty food. Never had a problem, all the instructions are really clear, you get a huge variety of meals to choose from with new meals every week. I already feel so much healthier after a couple weeks eating Grubby recipes. My cooking skills have improved and the customer service and client support is top notch, with very friendly staff.

5/5 would highly recommend!! Best meal packs out there (and I've tried them all).

These recipes make eating tofu enjoyable. Lovely flavours and textures - two things that wouldn't usually be attributed to tofu!! Grubby makes eating a plant based diet enjoyable and tasty. I filter for high protein.
I love the recipes and have no problems woth deliveries. Very helpful and personal service when raising a query.

Great food! Excellent options for families! The kids love it! 😍 we recently had an issue with our order and Grubby sorted it within 24hrs, no questions asked. We’ve tried most of the other companies and Grubby is the best so far. Thanks Grubby!

I love this company they are really reasonably priced and food is excellent and easy to make.

I must say that Grubby meals are so delicious and there is plenty of choice. They should be brilliant, but they are not due to unreliability of ingredients being included. Virtually every week there is at least one item missing. Often a critical ingredient, which means a trip to the shops. This is exactly what I am trying to avoid.
I have raised the issue repeatedly and my complaint has apparently been escalated. I was assured that my packages would get an extra check. Last week it was fully complete, this week we are back to normal with at least one missing item.

There is clearly an issue. Every now and then I could understand, but this is very disappointing. It confirms an endemic problem.

I am sticking with them for now in the hope that things will improve. I must admit they have lost faith in that happening. It’s a real shame.
