Shocking safety risks, illegal practices.

"Prospective clients and employees should be aware of the operational and safety standards at this company based on my recent first-hand experience as an employee.
The company required me to drive an owned company van that completely lacked a valid NCT and road tax. Furthermore, management had intentionally removed the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) from this van to avoid replacement costs, causing hazardous exhaust fumes to leak directly into the driver’s cab. This vehicle was also used to collect waste without a valid NWCPO permit, which only stopped after a formal report was made to the local council.
When that vehicle was unavailable, management assigned me a temporary vehicle using a corporate car-sharing account. Upon contacting the car-sharing provider directly this week, they confirmed that the account lacked valid insurance coverage for me, meaning management had left me completely uninsured on the road without my knowledge.
When I raised these specific safety, vehicle, and licensing breaches, management attempted to force a new contract on me and backdate training logs. Because I refused to sign or comply, my employment was immediately terminated under the claim of a 'work shortage.'
Operating an unroadworthy, uninsured fleet and penalizing employees who object to these conditions demonstrates a severe and systemic disregard for public safety, statutory compliance, and employment law. Avoid."

Very Professional Company

I have used the services of The Glassbag several times in the past few months and I have always found the guys running it to be very easy and polite to deal with. There has never been any issues with collections and I cannot recommend their services enough to family and friends. Excellent Company

I was a customer of this so called…

I was a customer of this so called company for a few years. There was a guy who used to work for them who was so genuine. He made time for people especially the disabled. He worked under horrible conditions in all weathers. This company take money but do not deliver. So do not call yourself a company. You are not none of you. You should be ashamed of yourself, but people like you dont know the meaning of that word. You will be found out.

This company is a scam ...I worked for…

This company is a scam ...I worked for them for three years and was asked to resign after they were caught using another company's waste permit collection. I reported them ..They were collecting rubbish illegally. In the three years I worked for them I never received a payslip and they insisted on paying cash in hand for the "go simple" scam company they also set up . Avoid at all costs. I was made fix punctures myself with plugs and they had me driving go-vans with no insurance at one stage and didn't tell me I wasn't insured . They have no concern for people's safety and are only about taking money off people . They reassured me they had a legitimate waste collection permit but like everything with these people it was a Lie. David bringing me out for coffee and asking me to resign telling me they would give me a good reference. I'm the person that reported you both to Dublin city council because Im not a part of the scam these people were operating... People that trust these people are wrong to do so. If you give your rubbish to people that don't have a Valid waste permit you are also commiting and offence . These people don't care. All about the money. They couldn't buy me . I didn't resign which they wanted so they wouldn't have to pay me redundancy.. I was off work being paid while they were telling the customers I was sick . Customers that could see what was going on called me to let me know what they were saying. Again all lies . I got my redundancy payment when I threatened them with the recordings of everything that I had of them including David at my house throwing his weight around . Karma will get you lads. And for the record I'm the person that reported you to the council ..but you both knew that since I was the only employee... Glad I'm away from this dangerous job that had me shredded with glass and going deaf ...and months driving a van with the dpf removed with carbon monoxide in the cab of the van..sent videos and reported again it was ignored becaue they don't care about health and safety..it made me very unwell and in the end I refused to drive the vehicle which had no tax or NCT . You won't have any luck lying to people lads. Truth always comes out in the end. Avoid this company at all costs and use a real waste company that cares about workers safety and has a permit not uses someone else's permit as a loophole .. pay for your permit like everyone else does glassbags ... Absolutely disgraceful company avoid at all costs ...
