Pickup failures, but all delivered and resolved in the end
I bought a bike on Bikeflip, but the pickup process has been a total mess. The courier pickup has failed about 5 times, maybe because of the seller.
Great idea, bad logistics.
I hope Bikeflip steps in to resolve this issue with FedEx or provides an alternative pickup method.
*UPDATE 21/08*
The bike was delivered, although some parts of it were not like in the AD the support team helped me to return money partially to make the required fixes. I can now ride the bike which is awesome! Negotiations with support and the seller took about 9 days to complete. So in total from order to receiving a bike to completely receiving it and riding about 4-6 weeks of waiting, but it pays out in the end.
Good service overall.

I want to love it but....
I want to love it but it's not where it needs to be yet. I've sold 3 bikes. The process works but if anything goes wrong they can be pretty slow to respond. Bike boxes are great quality but it takes a long time to pack. I also had my account blocked for no reason and never found out why. It was unlocked the next day but I was awaiting 2 bike payments so not cool. For whatever reason it takes ages to upload pictures I don't have this problem with buy cycle. Fees are pretty high. If they can fix these issues it's amazing.

The Bikeflip platform itself was easy…
The Bikeflip platform itself was easy to use, and the purchase process felt secure. Communication with the seller was good throughout.
Unfortunately, the shipment arrived incomplete. According to the seller, the wheels were packed separately and attached to the bike package with tape, but only the main bike box had a shipping label. As a result, the two wheel boxes were lost during transport and never arrived.
This was very disappointing, as I purchased the bike based on the complete listing. While the seller maintains that everything was handed over to the courier, I believe the packaging method was not suitable for international shipping, and unfortunately part of the shipment was lost.
I still hope that the missing packages can somehow be located and eventually delivered to me, although at this point it seems unlikely.
Overall, the platform was good, but this experience shows how important proper packaging and labeling of every package is.

We’re sorry to hear that part of your shipment did not arrive as expected.
After reviewing the case, we found that the seller unfortunately did not follow our packaging instructions: our shipping process requires the bike and all of its components, including the wheels, to be packed together inside the Bikeflip Box. Every box also includes a QR code linking to our packing guide, which explains the correct packing procedure step by step.
In this case, the seller chose to prepare separate packages for the wheels without informing us, which was unfortunately outside of our control and increased the risk of the shipment being separated during transport.
We understand how disappointing this situation must have been, and we appreciate your feedback. It helps us continue improving both our communication and the shipping experience for our users.

good but not great
Overall, I had a very good experience with Bikeflip. The bike arrived safely and in the condition described by the seller. The platform made the buying process easy, and I appreciated the secure payment system. Communication was also good throughout the purchase.
The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 is the shipping cost. I think €180 for shipping is quite expensive, even though the delivery itself went smoothly.
Other than that, everything was handled well, and I would consider using Bikeflip again in the future.

Great idea let down by bad people
I have purchased one bike through bikeflip before and the service was good, however it appears to have become a site for fraudulent people, twice now I have tried to buy a bike. Once the seller refused to post it and the second asked us to cancel the transaction and go through a different vendor. GOOD IDEA LET DOWN BY BAD PEOPLE. I wont use this site anymore, I cant go through seeing my son dissapointed again. In fairness to bikeflip my complaint and refund were dealt with very quickly and professionally.

Everything was very smooth but I have one big complain and it is that the packaging was totally ripped because it was a reused box and there were holes which for god sake didn't make any mess but every delivery guy was able to see steal or scratch the bike and also the frame was carbon which is very fragile for this kind of packaging. 20 days passed and I did not get payed,because the buyer of my bike reported fake problems.We did not agree to the price reduction,so I had to wait for the site to take the final decision.After 20 days passed,I had to agree with the reduction because so many days passed without a final answer from the site.Additionally,what an awful support team!
