Absolutely fantastic experience with Bond Clean Expert Gold Coast from start to finish.

The whole process was incredibly easy. The information on the website was clear, booking was straightforward, and communication from the company throughout was excellent. Their pricing was also very reasonable, with everything clearly explained upfront, including the costs and exactly what was included. There were no surprises, which is very much appreciated when you’re already dealing with the chaos of moving.

Bunny completed our bond clean and did a phenomenal job. His attention to detail was exceptional and the property was left absolutely spotless. He was thorough, professional and clearly takes real pride in the quality of his work. The standard of the clean genuinely exceeded my expectations.

From the initial booking and excellent communication through to Bunny’s outstanding work on the day, I couldn’t be happier with the service.

I would not recommend Bond Clean Expert based on our experience.
We booked them after they advertised a “7-Day 100% Bond Back Guarantee” and provided a fixed quote for our bond clean.
A major issue arose while the clean was already underway. Midway through the scheduled bond clean, we were told that we needed to pay an additional $260 or the cleaners would not continue the clean. This placed us in an extremely difficult position because the property needed to be cleaned within the required timeframe and, once the clean was already underway, there was effectively no practical opportunity to cancel and organise another bond cleaner at short notice. We felt we had little realistic choice but to agree to the additional charge.
This was particularly concerning given that their original advertising stated “No hidden costs”, “No hourly charges”, “No time limits”, and that customers would never be asked to pay for “extra hours” to complete their bond clean.
The problems then continued after the clean.
The real estate agent identified a localised mark on a wall. Under Bond Clean Expert's advertised guarantee, their cleaners returned to rectify it. Following that re-clean, what had previously been a localised area became substantially larger and sticky, and the painted surface was visibly damaged.
Bond Clean Expert subsequently acknowledged in writing that during their re-clean “the existing sticky substance spread across that area.”
The property manager has since independently obtained a quote for $660 to repair and repaint the damaged wall. Despite being provided with photographs, video evidence, correspondence, and the repair quote, Bond Clean Expert has refused responsibility. They subsequently referred to the warranty attendance as a “forceful reclean”, despite the re-clean being requested under the guarantee they had expressly advertised as part of the service.
For me, the biggest concerns were the unexpected demand for a further $260 after the clean had already commenced, the damage occurring during the subsequent re-clean, and the way the business handled the matter after being notified.
Given the representations made to us regarding fixed pricing, no hidden costs, and a “7-Day 100% Bond Back Guarantee”, our experience was very different from what we expected when booking the service.
Based on our experience, I would not use Bond Clean Expert again.

Do not use this company they make themselves seem great whilst booking but the standard of cleaning is horrible and then once you try to complain about the standard of work they don't what to know about it

I strongly recommend avoiding this cleaning company. My experience was exceptionally poor, both in terms of the standard of cleaning provided and the way my concerns were subsequently handled.

I engaged the company to clean a one-bedroom apartment. When the first cleaner arrived, he inspected the apartment. I then accompanied him to assist with bringing in his cleaning equipment, after which he disappeared for approximately 90 minutes. When he eventually returned, he advised that additional cleaners would be required.

Two further cleaners did not arrive until approximately five hours later. Shortly after arriving, they contacted their office and then informed me they were leaving to get Burger King and would return within an hour. They did not return for approximately two hours.

The situation became even more concerning when I received a call from the company's head office advising that I would need to pay an additional $2,000 to complete the clean, supposedly because of the chemicals required to clean areas including the bathroom and ceiling. Given that this was a one-bedroom apartment, I considered this additional charge completely unreasonable. I was also leaving the country the following day and therefore had very limited options. After I challenged the amount, the company agreed to reduce the additional charge to $770, which raises further questions about how the original $2,000 figure was calculated.

Despite the substantial amount charged, the completed clean was well below an acceptable professional standard, with numerous surfaces and areas left unclean. I subsequently requested that the company return and rectify the deficiencies. Even after this second clean, my real estate agent inspected the apartment and described the cleaning standard as disgraceful.

As a result, I was required to pay for the real estate agent's cleaners to attend the property and clean it for a third time.

In total, this company charged me approximately $1,440 for a service that ultimately required another cleaning company to rectify. The poor cleaning standard was compounded by significant delays, questionable additional charges and, most disappointingly, an apparent lack of concern from customer service when I raised these issues.

I have repeatedly contacted the company by telephone and email to formally express my dissatisfaction and request a partial refund. My communications have gone unanswered.

I have used professional cleaning companies for more than two decades and have never experienced service of this standard. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company and would strongly advise prospective customers to consider alternative providers.

I hired this company in Perth without looking at reviews before hand and, as other reviewers have noted, was surprised by rather large additional fees that I couldn't afford.

However, the staff on the phone recognised my distress and was very empathetic, able to sort things out so that I wouldn't need to cancel the appointment and suffer a cancellation and rescheduling fee.

While that was positive I checked reviews and became anxious about the quality of the work. Thankfully when I checked the property once they were done I found the work had been done far, far better than expected. I am very happy with the work BCE has done.

If I could give less than 1 x star then I would. Bond clean did not pass. Their ‘72 hour reclean gurantee’ turned into 120 hours later. I was the one who continually had to get in contact to query when the reclean would be. I was told the reclean would be on Monday, but alas no one called. I started the reclean the property out of desperation on my own on the Tuesday, but 10.30 on the Tuesday recleaning ‘team’ arrived - I had already done majority of the reclean work as it was too stressful waiting to hear from this nonsense business. The reclean experience was also ridiculous as they asked me to show them what else needed to be done - exit report was provided, I am not a realestate property manager. No initiative, no costumer service. Bond cleaners smelled of body odor. During the reclean, I needed to ask them to remove their shoes before stepping on our freshly cleaned carpets. Overall communication started off well as they were driven for the sale, but once we BSB and Acc transferred them the $$ it was such a stressful experience.
Please do not waste your time on these crooks.

These so called cleaners are nothing but rude, lazy and rip offs! They changed the day before to arrive at 7am on a school day 😩 then after 30mins, proceeded to blow up my phone saying they wouldn’t start work until payment was made 🤷🏽‍♀️ then hour into work, they called to say it required a “chemical clean” which I later found out was the use of gumption! They did not spot clean the walls at all. I am yet to take photos and post. I am so disappointed. I will NEVER use this company ever again

Scammers, now go by different names e.g. Desiner Bond Clean....etc., do not use them....

I am a property manager and I would never recommend these cleaners. Dishwasher filter black and not touched. Not 1 exhaust fan was taken down and cleaned. This is the worst cleaning I have seen in 20 years.

They call you when on site demanding more money or no clean will be done and then proceed to not do the extra.
They’ll shake you down and leave you stranded.

NEVER EVER BOOK THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE A SCAM. Accepted $479 fixed quote, paid in full upfront, called mid-job demanding an extra $300 for pre-existing damage and threatened to leave incomplete. Were also so friendly in person then rude and aggressive over the phone.

I hired this company for a bond clean for today and was quoted $999 for bond clean and carpets plus pest. 2 people arrived with hardly any equipment, especially not for a bond clean.5 mins in the house the cleaners said they are leaving and their boss is sending another team. I ring the boss who said he had no idea and told me to wait and he will call me back. He calls back and says he wants an extra $1200 on top of the $999 I gave him as the walls need chemical clean , which after reading all the bad reviews he told everyone. He shut the phone down on me twice as I wanted my money back , he said there would be a cancellation fee and I said no I want a full refund.He verbally abused me and said I was being unprofessional even though I paid them in full for the clean before they started as they said it was company policy. I drove down to the address on their invoice and its residential units.
I paid $999 and they refunded only $767 .
THEY ARE SCAMMERS IF I COULD LEAVE -100 I would as 1 star is too good.

Their initial service was ok.
But they rushed and left dust, no spot cleaning of walls.
Their promise to follow up with a second clean per agents instructions, which is in their contract, was never followed up. And they only send emails assuring the team this week be done and that "they're committed to excellence".
Very disappointed!

Would not rate this company at all they are scammers. Their address on there invoices is from Gold Coast look up address it’s a block of units. Got quoted $900 to do a standard bond clean. Real estate just went through and said nothing been done, no carpet clean, no bathroom clean, no light clean 5 hours 2 men. Demanding to pay before start no communication no answers no returning my call trying to get my money back. Before real estate return with my bond I have to pay another $1000 to do a bond end of lease clean. I feel this is a Indian scam to suck people in. My son is now on phone ringing consumer protection WA please if any one have any thing to do with this company please ring consumer protection WA. We need people to speak up and get what’s there rights.

This company shouldn’t be allowed to keep going . They are scammers who have no idea how to clean . Hopefully a lawyer see’s the bad reviews and put in a lawsuit against this Company on behalf of everyone that didn’t receive there bond back from the cleaning . Also everyone needs to put in a complaint to Fair trading Authorities too . As Someone needs to stop this Company!!!!!

Terribly unprofessional company to deal with. Spent over 12 hours in a 3bed duplex and still did a below-average job. After reading other reviews (sadly after the fact), I have zero hope that this will be rectified, and I will have to spend more money on a legitimate business that isn't a fraud. Quoted $850, then demanded I pay an additional $390 because the walls & blinds needed a "chemical wash". Went to return keys the next morning and walls and blinds haven't even been touched.

The clean itself was fine. What i didn't appreciate was the "urgent" phone calls while I was at work only to be told that in order to clean the walls it would have to pay an extra $200 to use sugar soap and water..
On top of the nearly $1,000 id already spent on the clean.

Sugar soap and water spray as far as Im concerned is a standard, budget non toxic wall cleaner and I was outraged at the highway robbery of a $200 surcharge for a basic cleaning product. What is your standard wall cleaner? Water and a sponge?

I was willing to pay the extra $70 to clean a toilet although im unsure why it wasn't included in the quote or an extra toilet listed as an option because im sure im not the only house in australia to have a separate bathroom and toilet...

And I let go the quote for 4 rooms for carpet cleaning even though I only had 3 rooms because $140 for 3 professionally cleaned carpet rooms was still more than reasonable.

I didn't appreciate the shonky salesman attitude of the person i contacted to recieve the urgent information about the extra charges i would have to pay or the aggression of the threat to send the cleaners home if I didn't pay the "excess".

They say moving house is one of the most stressful experiences in life and this was one of the worst. Thinking that paying for a vacate clean was going to take some of the pressure off me and being in good hands was meant to be one less thing to worry about but I was on the verge of having to do the whole thing myself because I refuse to be shaken down for $200.

The cleaners themselves were courteous and polite, let me know when they arrived and when they finished by text as requested. Im not able to take or make phonecalls at work so i appreciated the text updates. I have no issue with them. A lot of the evidence photos taken though were very blurry im not sure if its an apple Android issue but besides that there was no issues flagged by the realestate inspection.

Whoever that supervisor or manager you have is though needs some sensitivity training or some customer service guidance because he has no skills when it comes to dealing with clients who are already haemorrhaging money on the cost of a move plus working fulltime and navigating a relocation as a single mother on a basic wage. I dont lose my temper very easily but he exacerbated an already stressful situation and only because of him (and the ridiculous "sugar soap and water" surcharge) I would never recommend this business to my salon clients. But it has made for a great story to see the incredulous look on my hair clients faces when I tell them the premium surcharge product is sugar soap and water.

Oh and when I gave them this exact feedback word for word after several requests for feedback, their response was

If I could give a zero I would! Be carefull - they will provide a quote and once onsite will demand extra money or stop the job. Quoted $1200 and at the end, they requested an additional $400. The indian guy arrived alone at the house at 10am. By 4pm he went "on lunch" but returned with 2 helpers. Long story short- never washed the carperts, did a half-arse job cleaning the house. We had to go back and finish cleaning the house and wash the carpets ourselves. Dealing with them on the phone is a nighmare. It is like you talking to someone in Mumbai. Hard to understand. I just hope people read this before using these people.

I'm a landlord and upon the tenants vacating they engaged their services for a bond clean charging them $1500.00 (rip off). For that price you'd expect that the house would sparkle. However, the state the house was left in I would never be able to re-rent in that condition. They must be blind as they didn't even clean the most obvious of things, eg. light switches were left filthy, kitchen splash back had grease dripping which was not cleaned as was the rangehood and pantry door. Windows, verticals and screens were untouched. I contacted the tenants to let them know that the cleaners had done a horrendous job of cleaning the house. They requested photos and an email outlining what was missed which I did. Apparently they have a 7 day guarantee period. I believe they requested extra money but I don't know if this was paid by the tenant. Well they did come back but didn't make any difference to the cleanliness of the house. There was still marks on the doors, the windows weren't touched, light switches were again overlooked. There is no attention to detail. It's not just the vacuuming and moping. I told the tenants that they had been ripped off by these cleaners and to never use them again.

They demand extra money on the day of the clean and then do a terrible job anyway that does not meet bond clean expectations. Avoid at all costs.
